A/N - Aljin's character is really beautiful in this story, as in inhumanely beautiful. Thats why Jacki can't help herself! The reason he was cursed like this is because Trolls don't like the appearance of humans :)
[Jacki's P.O.V]
Aljin. His name is Aljin and he is a cursed Troll prince. Then why was he so beautiful? I didnt even know who he was, yet I couldn't take my eyes off him. From his perfectly shaped body, to his fine, soft hair or his beautifully defined face. There was too much to look at.
Was this who Dieara was talking about? The one who is so different to the other Trolls, and that his name shouldn't be mentioned? Well she sure was right about that! But could I trust him..? I wasn't too sure, well at least he was a human.
He led me into a room which had something unrecognisable written on the door. Aljin's hand was warm and comforting but there was something else that affected me more. His scent. It reminded me of the times when I was little and used to play in the woods by myself. I enjoyed being surrounded by the autumn leaves and hearing the sounds of the nearby the riverside. That was before I was scared to go in the forest though, obviously.
I walked into his home (well i think it was his home) and took in the vastness of the room, it was huge! In the centre of the room there was a coal lit fire and surrounding it was a big soft rug made of sheep skin. On my right was a set of table and chairs with some food and i guessed that must be the kitchen.
This house was completely different to Tazga's house. If compared, you could easily tell which one belonged to the Prince. On the left side of the room was a bed, an actual bed with a thin white curtain around it. This place was definitely comfortable.'What do you think?' Aljin asked, tilting his head towards me. His eyes. Where have I saw them before?
'It's great!' I replied. 'Do you live here?' I asked, letting go of his hand gripping mine.
'Yes, this is my home. Whose house were you at before?' He asked in return.
'I was at Tazga's house. Do you know them?'
Aljin thought for a moment and then said.
'Oh thats good, they are a good family. Well the only good family. I'm glad that you are safe.' Aljin said, with an unreadable expression, then he looked at me.
'Shall we sit down?' He asked.
'Yeh sure'. I replied.
We moved towards the fire and I sat on one side of the big sofa like furniture and Aljin sat across me.
He looked at me questioningly before he spoke,
'So do you know what happened to your friend Miley?' He asked, and I practically jumped off my seat.
'Do you know about her?' I asked shocked. 'Where is she?'
'She is safe at the moment, so you don't need to worry. But do you remember how I told you that I am cursed? Well..Miley is also cursed.' He told me, and I gave him a judging look.
'What do you mean she is cursed? I've known her like.. forever! I don't think you've got the right person.' I answered back.
'Well,' his voice dropped a tone lower. 'Let me explain properly then.' He said. 'Around 20 years ago, Miley's Mother met my Father. My Father's name is Zol'thuwa and he is the King of Troll Valley. A year after they met they had a baby.' He explained. I leaned closer, now eager to hear the story.
