She opened her eyes and looked around her, the strong scent of smoke from a nearby fire blocked her nose and her eyes stung as she struggled to keep them open. Around her the thick smoke blocked her sight so all she could see were her own hands chained to the bars surrounding her. She gasped and let out a deep breath, where was she?

She tried pulling the chains but it was no use, they were made of heavy bronze metal and her wrists were turning a light shade of crimson under them. The cage bars were enclosing her, restricting her from escaping. The last she remembered was walking into a Forest and not knowing why, because no one went into that Forest. She pondered on this thought..

Beads of sweat were starting to form on her forehead, it was getting hot in here and she couldn't make out much because of the smoke. She realised she was under somewhere.. A cave? If she looked carefully between the bars, there was a gap between the rocks, if the smoke just cleared away a little she'll be able to see what's beyond it. But that wasn't going to happen, she knew this because just then a group of creatures were walking towards the cage. Towards her.

She squinted so that she could see what they were and here eyes were taken aback. She stared at them in shock.

'Who are you and how dare you come here!' One of the creatures shouted so loudly she thought she was about to go deaf. I don't know how I got in here, I barely know who I am anymore! She wanted to scream back.

'Where am I?' She said instead, but she guessed they didn't hear her because the sound of her voice was a small rasp. So the creature who asked the question shook the cage so hard, her head slammed onto the bars and she slowly slipped back into unconsciousness.
