Ch. 11 But

Grace stood there not knowing what to say, she was excited and anxious at the same time.  All she could think about was 'what was Hannah going to say, to do?' 'should I do something?' Grace walked over to Hannah and touched her shoulder. "Hannah I am sorry, if you want we can go after her and tell her that it was nothing. I don't want to be the reason you two break up." Grace spoke as she pulled Hannah in for a hug.

"No, I don't want it to mean nothing because it  meant everything to me. I have waited years for this moment and it was perfect until Ingrid found us. I don't want to be with anyone but you." Hannah proclaimed

"But you told Ingrid that you loved her, those feelings don't just go away in two minutes."

"I don't care my feelings for you out last the feelings that I had for Ingrid. Grace I love you and don't you forget it." Hannah stood on her tippy toes to give Grace a kiss. 

"Awwww, this is so sweet you two are so cute together," Mamrie said standing a few feet away watching the tender moment between her two friends. 

They let go on their grasp on each other because they forgot they weren't the only two in the room. They turned to Mamrie to see her smiling at them.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt, but what about Chris?" Mamrie asked pulling them back into realty. "Chris your fiance your supposed to be married next fall, October Saturday 15th, or did you forget that small little detail?"

"Oh crap I supposed to marry him in nine months."

"When did you guys decide on a date? I thought you were still debating about it." Hannah asked Grace. They were fully apart with a couple of feet separating them. 

"It happen right before we came here, I have always thought if I were to get married I would want to get married in the fall. I texted Mamrie on the way here. It now makes sense why she wanted to know."

"Are you still going to marry him?" Hannah asked not knowing what to do.

"I don't know I need to think things through. I need to figure out what I want." Grace stood there staring at Hannah and tried to grab her hand but she pulled away.

"You kissed me, your the one who dragged me into this room, told me you cared about me, and kissed me. I have left you alone because I thought you didn't have feelings for me. I started dating Ingrid because I wanted to move on. You do this and then you tell me that you don't know how you feel. Call me when you have everything figured out, that way I know if I can move on or not." Hannah left the room not knowing how to feel. 

Grace turned to Mamrie, "Mamrie what do I do? I don't want to hurt either of them, can I even tell Chris? I don't want to loose Hannah though, she means way to much to me. I feel like she over-reacted."

"She has ever right to feel the way she does, you have put her on a roller coaster ride. You need to decided who you want to be with before you lose the both of them. If you want to marry Chris then you need to tell him before he finds it from someone else. If you want to be with Hannah then you still need to tell Chris what happen and tell him that Hannah's the one for you. Either way, he needs to know. You should decide who you want to be with and fast before you lose the both of them."

They walked back into the other room together. Mamrie grabbed her hand to help Grace keep herself together. She knew all of this was too much for her friend. Grace hated emotions and dealing with all of this was overwhelming for her. Grace grabbed a shot of vodka and threw it back. She did four more before Mamrie stopped her before she told someone something that she would regret later. As Grace stumbled across the room Chris came up and grabbed her arm. 

"Wow, are you ok? You might want to slow down on those shots." Chris stated helping Grace stand upright.

"I... a.m... fine, don't even think .. about it." Grace slurred. 

"What are you talking about?" Chris asked as he set, Grace down in a chair.

"I need to... tell you something v..eeryy important." 

"WOW, let's get going" Mamrie interrupted before Grace could say something about what just happen with Hannah. "I will make sure she gets home fine. You stay here and enjoy yourself. Why don't you stay at Matt's tonight and have a guys night out." Mamrie grabbed Grace to help her stand up.

"Fun, that sounds good, take care of my girl ok." Chris said as he gave Grace a kiss on the check. Mamrie put Graces arm around her shoulder and they walked out of Skipps.

When they got out of the building Matt helped get Mamrie's car so she could hold Grace up. While he was getting the car Grace whispered to Mamrie "But he needs to know. He needs to know what happen and I need to decided who I want to to be with." 

"Ok girly lets go, we can decided all this when you sober up."

Mamrie drove Grace home and put her to bed so she could sleep off tonight's events.
