Mamrie stared at the dress that hung on back of her bedroom door. Her dream dress, an ivory color, low cut, strapless, straight cut dress. Of course the dress had to be off white. She knew she wasn't pure enough for plain white dress. She couldn't believe that in one day she was marrying the man of her dreams. Everything was going great well except for... Mamrie wiped the thought from her mind. She needed to focus on tonight and worry about Monday when Monday came.

Beans started jumping up and down she looked up at Mamrie and wagged her little tail while she had her signature look on. Her tongue half out of her mouth laying to the side with a bored look on her face. Mamrie scooped her up and started petting her little jelly bean. "BEANS, can you believe it, in one week it won't just be the two of us. It will be the three of us. I know you like him a lot but you have to share Zack, Ok?" She looked at the tiny dog who was just wagging her tail happy to be there. "Great now lets get ready we have a big night ahead of us."
...

Tyler arrived at Mamrie's door at 7:00pm. "Are you ready for tonight?" Tyler yelled at Mamarie as he stepped inside her house.

"Yes I am, but give me a minute I need to find my purse. Can you please tell me what were doing tonight?"

"No that's part of the rules and you know that. You can't know where were going or what were doing until it happens. Stop trying to pry your way into know what were doing tonight." Tyler sat on the couch waiting for Mamrie, he didn't know if she was going to be 30 seconds or 30 minutes. He hopped she was going to be fast because they had to be at the first destination in thirty minutes and it was going to take them at least 20 minutes to get there, even with the Saturday night traffic in L.A.

"Tyler come on it's my Bachelorette party I should know what's going to happen."

"Should and will are two separate things my love." As Tyler finished his sentence Mamrie stepped out from around the hallway. She stood there in a black and grey color dress. With grey lace around the waist, low cut and was above her knees. She wore silver high heels to compliment the lace. "Damn, now if I wasn't so gay I might hit on you." Mamrie let out a laugh.

"Okay, lets go you gay boy, let's get this party started."

Mamrie grabbed Tyler's hand as he led her out of her house and into his car. They were off to the first surprise location.

Along the whole ride Mamrie tired to guess where they were going and what they were going to do. Tyler kept his mouth shut just ignoring all of Mamries comments. He didn't want to spoil any of the surprises.

...

Through out the night Mamrie was having a blast but through the whole thing she felt like something was missing and she knew exactly what it was. It was her best friend Hannah, she wished she was there and even though she was having a great time. She loved the first place they went to which was drinks at their favorite bar. Next it was at dinner at Shamshiri Grill one of Mamries favorite places. Finally they were at a club dancing, drinking, and watching exotic dancers. Tyler, Grace, Mamrie and their closest friends were having a great time. With a party of twelve everyone around them could hear them coming.

"So how are you doing? With everything about Hannah?" Lilly asked with a Cosmo in her hand.

Grace chocked trying to keep herself together it was tough enough that Hannah wasn't there yet alone people talking about it. "It's good." She chocked. She ignored the comment and continued to dance. She didn't want to focus what was happening in the real world. All she wanted to do was focus on this moment and have this night to just relax. The last seven months were filled with doctor appointments hospital visits and long nights of throwing up. This was one moment that she had to herself.

Just as Mamrie and Grace were dancing and drinking there Grace heard her phone go off. When she looked down it was the hospital. She stared at it for awhile. Mamrie took it from Graces hand and answered the phone. Unfortunately she couldn't hear what the person was saying on the side of the phone.
Mamrie ran outside of the club grabbing Graces hand on her way out so she could hear what the person was trying to say.

Grace stood there trying to listen to the conversation to figure what was going on. She knew she should have answered the phone but she knew it was the nurse but she didn't know what to say or what to do. All she could think was that if she didn't answer the phone then maybe what was happening on the other side of that phone call would stop. She knew that was logical Grace just couldn't handle what Mamrie was about to tell her.

"Okay we need to go right now." Mamrie stated as she waved a taxi down.

"What, why what's wrong?" Grace asked as Tyler came out of the club.

"That was Hannah's nurse she's on her way to the hospital so we need to head there to." Grace stood there shocked not knowing what to say or do. This couldn't be happening. They said that Hannah was doing fine from the treatment that everything was going according to plan. She thought Hannah was beating cancer and they were going to get their lives back soon.

"I will drive it will be faster then a cab."  Tyler said as he grabbed Grace's hand to help her to the car.

...

What seemed like the longest car ride of her life. Half a hour later Tyler, Mamrie and Grace were at the hospital. They quickly made their way through the main lobby where they found out that Hannah was in the ICU. First they had had to go to security to check in and get picture id's since it was 11:00pm, three hours past visiting hours.

After Grace took the worst photo of her life she felt like she was on auto pilot mode just making her way through the hospital trying to find where Hannah was.

They finally made it to the ICU. Grace stood outside the double doors that separated her and Hannah. Before she entered she took a deep breath and looked back at Tyler and Mamrie. "We will be here if you need us." Tyler said. The two went into the waiting room as Grace made her way into Hannah's room. She knew she shouldn't had gone out tonight but Hannah insisted that she have a good time.

Grace stood in the room staring at Hannah laying in bed, with IV's and monitors attached to her. All she kept thinking was why did this have to happen to the women she loved.
