Bad Day

I woke up to screaming, causing me to shoot up and look at the clock, reading to be two thirty-one. I sighed, getting out of my bed and nearly tripping over a body, causing me to almost scream, but I realized it was only Roman. I offered Roman to stay the night and he insisted he slept on the floor so I gave him an air mattress to sleep on. I didn't mind him to sleep with me in my bed, but he said otherwise.

"What's with the screaming?" Roman asked in his sexy sleeping voice.

I blushed. "Continue to sleep, it's just my dad. He's okay, it happens every night."

"Oh why?" Roman asked while sitting up, rubbing his face with his hands.

"Personal, very personal." I opened my bedroom door, rushing down the hallway to see Dad sitting up, panting heavily. I walked over to him, sitting on his bed and taking his hand. "Dad, I think you should see someone about this. This isn't normal..."

"No Seth, I'll be okay." Dad sighed and I just laid my head on his shoulder, frowning. "I promise, I'll be okay."

"Daddy, Sethie is worry about you." I pouted, giving him my best puppy eyes. "Please see a doctor, please? For me?"

Dad sighed, looking away from me. "Fine...only because I can't say no to your puppy eyes. Just like your mother's..."

"Thanks Dad." I hugged him tightly and he hugged me back.

"Now go back in your room, I will be okay." Dad smiled at me, kissing my head. "Goodnight Seth."

"Goodnight Dad." I got off of his bed, walking back to my room to see Roman was on his phone.

"How's your dad doing?" Roman asked and I nodded.

"Better." I laid down in my bed on my side to face Roman.

"Good. Goodnight Seth." Roman turned his back towards me.

"Goodnight Roman." I smiled and closed my eyes before quickly falling back to sleep.

Morning came by fast and Roman left with Lily to go to home to get ready for school today. While I was getting ready, my phone went off and I looked at the ID, seeing it was an unknown number. I spit toothpaste out of my mouth before shutting off the sink water, answering my phone.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Seth, it's Dean. I got your number off of Roman." Dean sounded miserable.

"Oh hey Dean. What's up?" I removed my towel around my waist, deciding to get dressed while on the phone.

"Did Roman leave your house yet?" Dean asked.

"Yeah, he left about an hour ago. Do you need him or something?"

"Yeah and he's not answering his phone. Thought he was with you since he told me he was spending the night." Dean sighed. "Well, if you're talking to him, tell him to give me a call, it's important."

"Okay I will, see you at lunch Dean."

"See ya." Dean hung up and I put my phone down, going back to brushing my teeth.

That was weird.

My morning classes went by fast, luckily I convinced Ben to not come with me to school. Well only because he didn't feel good and it was too late for Dad to replace my bodyguard. Brock and a couple other kids were making fun of me all morning for the way I bleached a streak of my hair and how my bodyguard isn't here to protect me, but now I'm in lunch, sitting with Roman and Dean. I just hope lunch would be better than the rest of the morning was.

Another kid I never seen before walked up to the table. She had long black hair with blue highlights, a silver lip ring on her bottom lip, as pale as a ghost, black eye makeup, and she wore all black.

"Yo, what up my dudes...and dude I never seen before." She chuckled, sitting down in the empty seat next to Dean. "New boyfriend, Roman?"

"No, I'm still with my girlfriend." Roman chuckled, looking at me. "Sorry, she ships me more with guys than girls since I'm bisexual."

"That is not true!" She hit her fist on the table.

"Paige honey, calm down." Another man behind Paige said, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her cheek.

"Oh Wade, Roman is assuming things again." Paige pouted as Wade sat in the chair next to her, rolling his eyes.

While Wade and Roman went on about what Paige said, two twin girls walked up to us along with a big muscular guy. "Hey baby." The small twin smiled, wrapping her arms around Roman's neck, kissing his cheek.

"Hey love." Roman smiled and kissed her on the lip. I turned away, looking at the other twin and the muscular guy sat in the two empty chairs on my side. As I was going to speak, a girl skipped up to the table, looking around the table.

"Ugh you kidding, no more seats?!" She groaned, running her fingers through her black hair. "Hey who's this?" She looked at me, raising her brow.

"I'm Seth..." I smiled nervously.

"Oh well you're sitting in my seat. Get up out of my seat." She chuckled before growing serious so I stood up only to avoid problems, grabbing my bag and lunch.

"Sorry, you could have it back. I'll go someplace else." I looked around the cafeteria as the girl took her seat back before deciding to just walk out of the cafeteria.

I put my lunch back into my bag while grabbing my phone out. I dialed up Ben's number, putting my phone against my ear while waiting on him to answer.

"Hey Seth, how's school?" Ben asked, sounding sleepy.

I sighed. "I'm coming home."

"Why? What happened?" Ben asked while I started making my way to my locker.

"This one girl in the cafeteria was saying I was sitting in her seat and told me to get up. So I just did and left the cafeteria. Also some other kids have been bothering me all morning and making fun of me. I feel something else bad will happen as well so I don't want to be here." I sighed, opening my locker and grabbing the books I need that I got homework with.

"Seth you can't just leave. You're almost done with the day, stick it out."

"Ben, I really can't." I shut my locker after getting my books, walking to the stairwell.

"I'll have Yoshi come pick you up." Ben sighed. "Go wait in the main office, I'll give them a call you're getting picked up."

"Thanks Ben."

"See you later." Ben hung up so I put my phone in my pocket, walking down the stairs as Brock was walking up the stairs.

"Hey loser." Brock chuckled, shoving my shoulder hard, causing my lower back to hit the railing hard while I also lost my balance.

I groaned, rubbing my lower back in pain before continuing my way down the stairs and to the main office. I can't wait to go home, do homework and do nothing else the rest of the night.

==================================

Aww poor Seth, had a bad day at school today. Hopefully things will get better for him tomorrow.

So what do you think will happen next? Will things be differently if Ben was there?

Leave a comment, I would love to know what you're thinking!
