Dreadful Day

The day really dragged out. I didn't go to lunch, I went to the media center to work on some homework instead. My stomach has been hurting me all day from nerves so I decided to not eat. Roman has been asking me all day what's wrong and I kept giving him the same answer "I'm fine, just tired". I mean it's true, I am tired. Tired of my life. Too bad I don't have classes with Paige, I need her.

Just as I was talking notes in child development, I felt a hand touch my left thigh. I jumped a little but looked down, seeing it was Roman's hand. I looked over at him to see him leaning down, trying to grab his pen that fell on the floor. When Roman sat up straight, I moved his hand off of my thigh.

"Don't touch my thigh." I paid my attention back to the board, copying down notes.

"Sorry, my pen fell and I didn't want to fall over." Roman sighed. "I don't get why you're acting strange today and I know it's not because you're tired."

"Roman, just drop it already. Just leave me alone." I had to use all my strength to ignore Roman and block him out, but it didn't work.

"Seth can we please talk after class?" Roman asked and I shook my head.

"There's nothing to talk about." I glanced over at Roman, seeing he looked concerned and a little upset.

"Is it because of Sasha?" Roman asked, raising his eyebrow. "That's when you started acting strange. When I introduced her to you."

"It's not Sasha, I barely know her." I turned to face the board again.

"Is it me?"

"Roman, it's not you or Sasha or anyone. Okay?" I sighed somewhat loudly, rubbing my head.

"Whatever Seth, I'm tired of trying to figure you out." With that being said, Roman left me alone.

School just ended and I am now packing up my bag and getting the remaining homework I had left I didn't finish in the media center. I felt arms wrapping behind me, causing me to look back to see Paige. I sighed, leaning my head back against her shoulder.

"How was today?" Paige asked and I just shook my head. "Can I come over your place?"

"I'll have to ask my dad." I pulled away from Paige and went to grab my phone out of my pocket, but Ben grabbed my wrist.

"Hunter won't mind, he won't be home tonight, he's finally going back to work." Ben lets go of my wrist and I just nodded.

"Looks like we're hanging." Paige smiled as I grabbed my english book out of my locker, putting it in my bag and shutting it.

I smiled at Paige. "Let's go."

Paige hooked her arm with mine, giving my arm a light squeeze. We walked outside the school to see Dean sitting down on a bench outside the building, rubbing his face. Paige pulled me over to him and we sat next to him on either side.

"Hey Dean." Paige pokes his shoulder.

"Hey guys. Seth, I've been meaning to tell you at lunch but you weren't there, you need to make Roman jealous of what he's missing. Sasha is a bitch and I hate her with a passion." Dean growled a little, shaking his head.

I blushed. "Dean, I'm not cut out to make him jealous and I'm not doing it, I'm going to throw out my feelings for him. Could we just drop everything with Roman already? My heart just aches to hear his name."

"It's obvious you love him Seth, you need to take action on it and not just forget about it." Dean shrugged. "You'll make a way better boyfriend to Roman than Sasha as his girlfriend."
