Chapter 13- Yelling At The Handicapped Boy

I awoke by someone nudging my side. I groaned, sitting up to see what the heck was going on. Oh yeah, the Northern air temple. Woop de doo. I watch as Aang looks at them in excitement, but then his face dropped to a frown. I smirked as he finally realized they weren't real airbenders.

Suddenly, one of the gliders with a chair attached swoops by us really fast. I gasp, almost having a heart attack.

"Hey, watch it! I'll kill you!!" I yelled at the glider who flew past while I waved a fist in the air angrily, finally breathing back to normal. Aang sees this as a challenge and leaps off Appa with his glider in order to show them what a real airbender can do. Oh, what a drag!

Appa leads up downwards towards the temple and lands. Then after a while they both start to glide down towards us and land safely on the temple ground. The other dude in the wheelchair wheels himself over to us with a big grin plastered on his face.

"You're a real airbender!" he exclaims. I groan in annoyance. This was one of my least favorite episodes. I decided to just play along and get out of my extreme boredom.

"No, Aang can just fly! He was so determined to beat your butt so we just swooped on by just to beat you in a race." I stated with a annoyed look on my face. I never really liked Teo anyways.

"That's not nice, River!" Sokka stammered, causing me to roll my eyes.

"So? I was awoken on unlieky terms for me to be angry. Don't. Push. It." I growled at him, causing Sokka to whimper back in fear.

"You look weird. What's with your hair in that odd color?" he asked, scratching the back of his neck. I groaned, so tired that Sokka woke me up. I wanted to leave before I do some actual damage to these idiots that brought me here.

"It's called blond, Teo." I muttered. His eyebrows furrowed in suspicion.

"How do you know my name?" he asked.

"I know everything. I especially know that danger will be ahead of us and your dad has a secret that he never told you. I. Know. Everything." I growled, not really wanting to be such of use to this stupidity. I was so freaking tired!!

"Liar! You don't know anything!" he was getting angry.

"Denial~" I sang. "Just you wait, Teo." I smirked.

Teo decided to show us around, Sokka staring in awe of how this was an improvement instead of looking boring of it's history. Aang was flustered in anger from all the pipes and smoke, and everything that had too much of change. I completely agreed with him. I find his father a threat to me and I don't care if they become friends. I just don't like them.

Teo then leads us to an outside coliseum type area that appears to have been untouched, but I growled in annoyance, knowing things would go wrong here. Just as Aang was beginning to get happy, a giant wrecking came smashing through destroying a statue, causing both Aang and I to lose our temper.

"UGH!! How dare you ruin such a monumental statue to the monks of airbending! Have you no rights of destroying such valuable, sacred, beautiful art, old man!" I yelled, causing everyone but Aang to look at me in bewilderment. I ignored them as usual as I stormed up to Teo's father.

"And who cares about a stupid bathhouse! How is that more important than what everyone adored and honored! You should be ashamed of yourself for ruining such wonderful structures of the temple! Your turning it into a complete warehouse!!" I growled.
