Chapter 3 - Zuko
Me and Suki became great friends. We sure have been here for a while, I wonder when we leave? I haven't seen much of Aang or Katara lately. I wonder how they are? I've been working on my skills to become a great warrior like Suki. Sokka is still complaining about their tradition in style. Boys will never understand fashion. I have been wearing the make up, out fit, and using the fan.
"Remember Sokka, the fan is like an extra length of the arm." Suki demonstrated. Once again, Sokka failed.
"Wait, I think I got it." He got back up on his feet. He began to fight with Suki, but in a passionate smooth way. Then Suki fell.
"I did it!" Sokka exclaimed. Suki looked embarrassed.
"I let you win." She said blushing.
"Sure, you did." Sokka said. In the corner of my eye, I saw Aang with his glider. This can't be good...
"Um, I'll be right back with the lesson, Suki." I said getting up. She nodded. I walked out, and into the street following them.
"Hey guy's, what's going on? Aang, why are you wet?" I asked.
"Zuko. He's here. And he faced the Unagi." Katara says answering for Aang. Crud.
"Nice dress!" Aang said complimenting my outfit.
"Thanks Aang, I love your arrow!" I smiled.
"Let's compliment each other some other time, Zuko's coming!" Katara protested. Seconds later we see Fire Nation troops and they immediately become offensive.
My friends come out, and so did Sokka. Oyaji runs to Sokka, Suki and the rest of the Kyoshi warriors, urging them for help. The Kyoshi warriors make a good demonstration of their abilities and skills in battle, taking out many fire benders, although they are outnumbered. I see Zuko, which he looks exactly the way I remember him on my television screen.
I come after Zuko. Taking my fan out and using my ninja skills with warrior skills. At first, I was pinning him down with my hands onto one of the villager's house. He steps on the edge of my dress, and flips us over so he's on top. This reminds me of Jet. I watch as his hands turn orange, and close to my face.
"Where's the Avatar?" he spoke looking me dead in the eyes. His scar bore right through my soul, as he was looking into my eyes. I gave him a shocked expression. I didn't know what to do, so I said the first thing that came to my mind.
"Naked babies, naked babies, naked babies, naked babies, naked babies. OMG! AANG, HELP ME, THE STUPID FIRE PRINCE IS GOING TO RAPE ME AND FEED ME TO A SHARK! AANG HELP, HELP!"
"River, I'm coming!" Aang shouts coming my way. Zuko looks behind his shoulder seeing Aang run our way. "Finally." He mumbled. Zuko pulls me up close to him as a shield. I think I'm the bait now. He uses a free hand and puts it in fire. He moves it towards my face.
"A step closer Avatar, and she get's it! There's no where left to go so turn yourself in!" He shouts which causes everyone in town to freeze. I look around and see the troops have rope and weapons in their hands pointing them at him. Aang doesn't know what to do. Without Zuko looking, I shook my head slowly telling Aang to stop. He does.
"Run!" I shout. Bad move River, Aang holds out his glider and flies into the air. Not what I meant, but okay. In the distance, I see him on Appa with Sokka and Katara. I smile. They are more important to live. Zuko growls, and pulls me closer to him. His grip hurts. I show no emotion though, because that just makes him feel stronger.
"You are going to lead me to the Avatar, since he got away." he said angrily. OMG I WOULD BE TOTALLY FAN-GIRLING RIGHT NOW! His voice is so sexy! SO SEXY! AND HIS ABS! SO, YUMMY! But sadly, I didn't. He ties me up and puts me on his rhino, and he sits in front of me leading his troops away. PYSCHO. I thought. That's what he is. And I will not talk to him either.
He starts leading away, when I remember part of the show where Aang spews water out from the Unagi, and onto the Fire Nation troops. Seconds later, I feel a gush of water all over me, and Zuko. That made me happy. I smiled forgetting the wetness on me, and since he burned down the villages.

I was on the ship. I was in a room. What room you ask? Zuko's. It was pretty dark, with a few candles lit. The door opened, and in came Zuko and Iroh. NO FREAKING WAY! IT'S UNCLE IROH!
"I would like to ask some questions." Zuko said. I shrugged.
"First, what is your name?"
"Billy Bob." I said giving him a glare. No way was I going to tell anything.
"What kind of name is that?" he asked.
"A name Billy would tell Bob." I said.
"Who's Billy and Bob?" he asked again.
"Unicorns."
"What are unicorns?" Iroh asked. I completely forgot he was there.
"Horses with horns on their heads." I said. Zuko gave me a questioning look.
"Enough about unicorns! What is your name?" he shouted. I sighed.
"River, why do you care?" he glared at me. I glared back.
"So, what's your next question, Twinkletoes?" I asked. He was flaming mad. Iroh tried to hold back a laugh.
"Where is the Avatar going next?" he asked leaning over me, with the look of death in his eyes. I shivered of the feeling of his warm breath on me. That's how close he was.
"Where ever the wind takes him." I smiled cheekily.
"Quit stalling!" he yelled. I sighed, giving in. I know he wouldn't give up.
"Well, an Avatar has to learn all four elements in order right? Water, Earth, Fire, Air?" I said.
"The Northern Water Tribe!" Zuko said backing away. I rolled my eyes. " No, the North Pole!"
"What? What is that?" he asked.
"Never mind." I said. "Any other questions?"
"Yes, would you like some tea?" Iroh asked.
"UNCLE!" Zuko yelled.
"You could at least be nice, nephew, she is our guest." Iroh said.
"Why thank you for asking, General Iroh! I would love some of your tea!" I said smiling, while walking up to the old man.
"Well follow me, come join us, Zuko!" He said happy. Zuko groaned, then followed.

"Well, River, where are you from?" asked Iroh.
"Kangaroo Island!" I said a little too fast.
"You don't look like one. I mean you have a pale complexion like a firebender. You have blue eyes like a water bender, but it's so light. But some other kind of yellow hair. We all have black, brown, grey, and white." Zuko said while sipping his tea.
"It's called blonde." I said.
"Well, you have very beautiful hair, River." Iroh said smiling. I smiled back. Zuko is worse than I thought.
"Thanks, Iroh." I said. He poured in my tea. I took a sip. Oh, this was more amazing that I thought it would be! I quickly chugged the hot tea down my throat not caring about it burning.
"Well, at least someone appreciates my tea." Iroh said chuckling. Zuko slumped down in his seat. He poured more tea into my cup. I sipped it slower causing him to chuckle more. I blushed.
"So, River, how long have you known the Avatar?" Zuko asked.
"Since Season 1." I said. Oops, I covered my mouth. I wasn't supposed to say that!
"What?" he asked.
"I mean, just for a couple of days." I said nervously. He glared.
"Sure," he glared. I ignored. This is going to be one long trip...
