~Prologue~

I, Sydney Nicole Clarkson have been a single teen mom for 2 years. Back in my 5th year I had been Dating Draco Malfoy. I was once a Gryffindor he a Slytherin. When in my 6th year I had found out that my parents died. They were Blood Traitors and never really cared about the Mudblood and Pureblood status that we have in our Society today. Due to those mistakes Death Eaters murdered them. I was then brought under the care of my older sister Lindsey and her husband Caleb till I became of age.To my dismay that was just the beginning of my problem.

Weeks after the Death of my parents I began feeling sick like never before. I was throwing up constantly and began feeling weak. Just the thought of food made me want to gag. My sister took me to the Doctors and I was then told that I was almost 1-½ months pregnant. That didn’t surprise her one bit; she said that she did have a feeling of something fishy going on. Dumbledore was informed and I was told that I would continue with my studies at Hogwarts until I became about 2 months pregnant.

When I arrived at Hogwarts the first person I told was Hermione. She was by far my best friend. She talked me down and told me that I had to tell Draco. I was scared; I didn’t know how he would react. Would he dump me and let me be out all on my own? Or would he help me through the roughest patch of my life so far?

Days later I had gotten the courage to go and tell Draco about my health. I hadn’t seen him for many weeks and every time I tried to get him to talk to me he would ignore me or walk away.

I stopped him just before we were about to have Lunch, and pulled him into an empty corridor inside the castle.

“What do you want Clarkson?” He asked me. I stared at him with curiosity. He never called me by my last name.

“ I need to talk to you.” I said.

“Well I don’t have time to talk to you!”

“ You said that you’d always be there for me.” I said raising my voice a little higher.

“ Well not anymore.” He said and walked away. I had tears streaming down my face. I should have known that this would happen eventually, just never at the time I needed his support the most.

Weeks went by and I never saw Draco Malfoy. I was pulled out of Hogwarts and then stayed at my Sisters. Months after I gave birth to a Young Boy who I ended up naming Scorpius Malfoy for one reason only. He looked exactly like Draco.

My Son was now almost 2 years old, and me just barely 17. I was now out of my sisters’ care and had managed to save up enough to buy a house for my Son and myself to live in. Scorpius knew that he was wizard and he would always find a way to do something mysterious with his power, even though he was extremely young. I tried my hardest to forget about Malfoy, but in a way I saw him everyday: through the growing of Scorpius.
