I Stepped out of my Car carrying a few bags of last minute presents. I locked the car and closed the door behind me. I walked up to my house and rang the doorbell. I heard barking coming from inside the house and footsteps of running and walking. I laughed silently to myself. The door Slowly opened revealing a middle aged woman and a young boy.
“ Mommy your back!” Yelled the little boy, Scorpius. I nodded and the woman held the door wide enough for me to walk through. I proceeded walking into the house and then soon dropped the bags down on the floor near the stair. My 2-year-old son waked over to the bags and tried to peek inside them.
“ Not so fast there, you have to wait till Christmas.” I said as I began to take off my coat. Scorpius pouted in disagreement.
“ But Mommy… that’s so far away!” He said.
“ No it’s only a week and a few days away!” I said trying to brighten up his mood. Scorpius walked away with our Dog, Bella in annoyance. I sighed and hung my coat on the hanger. I walked over to Scorpius who was sitting in the living room by the Christmas tree admiring its beauty.
“ Mommy… Why is it that everywhere I go? Kids like me always have a Mommy and Daddy?” Scorpius asked.I sighed and pulled him into my lap. I brushed his hair away from his forehead.
“ Some kids have only a Mom, Some have only a Dad, Some have both, and some… have no parents.” I said calmly. Scorpius looked up to me.
“ You mean like Harry?” He asked. I nodded slowly and began to stroke his hair once more.
When I was giving birth I didn’t have my parents beside me, or Draco. I was lucky to have real friends that would stick by my side no matter what. Neville, Luna, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Fred and George were all with me the night I had Scorpius. I even had support from my sister and her husband who were right by my bed in the Hospital. Tonks, Remus, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasly were also anxiously waiting for the Birth of my Child.
After the most painful time of my life I held my Son close to my side. Occasionally he would open his eyes and yawn and look around the room to see who was accompanying him. The nurse slowly let everyone in the waiting room walk inside and come to see the Child.
“ Blimey. He looks bit like ferret boy don’t you think Sydney?” Ron commented. Ron was looking down at my kid like he was some kind animal. From the corner of my eye I saw Hermione smack Ron upside the head.
“ Ow! What bloody hell was that for?” Ron Asked rubbing his head where Hermione hit him.
“ You can’t say that to her baby Ron! It’s Rude!” Hermione yelled. She gave me a sympathetic look and then continued to glare at Ron. I nodded towards her expression. Ron was a bit of a downer when it came to Joyful events.
“ Syd. He might become quite the Lady killer like Malfoy.” Fred said. I laughed and looked down upon my baby.
“ Maybe. I don’t know?” I said.
“ You mind if I hold him for a bit?” Tonks asked stretching her arms outwards. I nodded and passed him forwards towards her. Remus followed Tonks as she sat down upon a chair.
“ Have you thought of a name?” Asked Mrs. Weasley? I shook my head and looked over at my Son who was now sleeping in Tonks’s arms.
“ I haven’t.” I said quietly.
“ We’ll think of something eventually.” Neville said as he took the baby out of Tonks’s arms. I watched as Tonks and Neville went on admiring my Child.
