Tahimik ang lahat sa loob ng sasakyan ni Vice.

Si Vice at si Archie was seated at the back and was busy with their phones while drinking their Starbucks coffee. I was seated beside Russell who was driving the vehicle and I was just looking outside of the window while holding my untouched, still warm Starbucks cappuccino in my hand.

We were on our way back to Vice's place just near ABSCBN para makapagpalit sya and have dinner.

Vice:
Russell, anong lafang natin tonight?

Russell:
Di ko alam ateng. Kanina kasi nung pabalik na ako dito, nasa grocery pa si Manay Budi.

Vice:
Gusto ko lumafang ng tuyo. Perfect sya sa weather. Jumujulan. Daan kaya tayo sa Hi-top? Bili tayo ng Tuyo?

Archie:
Manay, tawagan ko muna si Budi, malay mo, may tuyo pa sa haybols.

Padial na si Archie on his phone when his phone rang.

Archie:
Hey Ms. Kurbs! Miss mo na ba si Daddy Pogi? Hahaha!

My heart leaped when I heard that the call was from Karylle. I was trying my best to listen to their conversation that I didn't hear Vice asking me to call Budi instead.

Vice:
Buern, huy, ano? Dadaan ba tayo ng Hi-top?

Nagulat ako nang kalabitin ako ni Vice.

Buern:
Huh?! Ano yun?

Vice:
Kailangan pa ba tayo-- teka nga, tinawagan mo na ba si Budi?

Buern:
Hi-hindi pa eh. Ahmm.. Out of reach kasi kanina.. Try ko ulit.

Russell threw me a puzzled look. He knew that I haven't tried calling Budi yet coz hindi ko naman hawak ang cellphone ko. I put down the Starbucks cup on the drink holder and took out my phone from my bag to dial Budi's number but Vice is already with him on the line.

Vice:
Ateng, pauwi na kami, may tuyo ba tayo dyan? Parang feel ko ang tuyo
tonight....

I was kicking myself for being so absent-minded. At naiinis ako kasi laging may nakakahuli sa akin. I am sure, milyon-milyong Q&A na naman ang aabutin ko kay Russell mamaya.

Vice:
Russ, diretso na raw tayo sa bahay. May pinadala pala si Gov. Vi na Sinaing na Tulingan. Carry na yun!

I am so glad that Vice didn't notice my mishaps and rather just went talking to Archie who was still on the phone with Karylle.

Vice:
Ano ba yan? Nagkakaigihan na yata kayo nyang kausap mo ah. Ano na raw ang ganap sa tsekot nya?

Archie put the call on speaker phone and the moment I heard Karylle's voice, napaidtad ako sa upuan ko. Of course, nanotice na naman yun ni Russell.

Karylle On Speaker Phone:
Hi Vicey! I was just thanking Archie for doing my make up tonight. Nakita ko kasi shots ni Sydney kanina and I must say, he did a really good job on me. Hahaha!

Vice:
Maganda ka naman kasi talaga kaya madaling gawan ng paraan. Di tulad ko kailangan pang i-masilya! Hahaha! Oh nasaan na pala kayo? How's your car?

Karylle On Speaker Phone:
Kuya Noel, has taken care of it na. Naiuwi na pala nila sa house. Sydney and I are just having coffee here at Starbucks.

Vice:
Ayyyy parang feel ko rin mag-Starbucks. 'Sang Starbucks kayo?

The moment we heard that napatigil kami lahat. I looked at Archie who was then looking at the Starbucks cup in his hand with a confused look. Si Russell naman stole a glance from Vice through the rear view mirror.

Si Vice, deadma lang at tuloy-tuloy lang nakipag-usap kay Karylle.

Karylle On Speaker Phone:
Dito kami sa Greenhills. Waiting for Yael to finish their rehearsals.

Vice:
Ah ganoon..

I sensed that Vice's excitement in his voice mellowed down. Feeling ko, parang nadisappoint sya upon hearing Yael's name.

I was getting so confused of the situation. At the same time, a sense of defeat is creeping up on me.

Masakit isipin na meron nang Yael sa buhay ni Karylle. Pero mas masakit pala na malaman na hindi lang pala ako ang nasasaktan sa sitwasyon na yon.

I am falling for someone who has her heart set on someone else.. And now I've realized, Vice is falling along with me.

Vice:
Russ, pakihinaan nga ang aircon. Bigla akong gininaw.

I reached for my Starbucks cup from the drink holder and offered my coffee to Vice.

Buern:
Te, kape pa?

Author's Note:

I am very sorry for a super short update. I am having a dilemma kasi if I will continue this story.

Recently,Mama Buern has been told about this story and now he is aware that this story exist. I do not know if his reaction was either positive or negative, pero I am worried that baka ma-awkward sya and will stop pushing ViceRylle.

Anyway, i might be also thinking too much in this situation. Baka nga walang time yun magbasa or baka nga hindi pa nya alam kung ano yung WattPad.

Pero, if he actually have read this, I am praying that Mama Buern will have the sense of humor to regard this silly story as nothing but a product of an insane mind.
