Chapter 4: Kohaku,The River Spirit

(Hibiki's POV)

I stopped to walk when I saw A Young Man staring at me with a shocking face,He have a black length shoulder hair,Brown eyes and a tall figure,He walk towards me and hug me tightly.

"Chihiro!!" He called as he squeeze me.
"I-I'm not--" he cut me off and said.
"Here eat this so you will not disappear." He let me swallow a red alike gum ball and gasp "chihiro your injured!" I look at what he was pointing and saw a blood flowing from my knee. Ah!? Why didn't I felt it when I tripped from the ground?

He kneel in front of me and touch my injured knee,a blue orb light appeared in his hand and my scratch disappear.

"Come I'll  let them know your back" he pull me and cross a red bridge while I saw a train below it.

"U-umm..I'm sorry but I'm not chihiro." I mumbled,he chuckle and said "what are you talking about,Your chihiro." He exclaimed,I let go of his hand and touch his face and face it to me. "Look at my eyes!! She's not me Kohaku!!" I said in a high pitch tone. He widen his eyes at the realization. He pushed me away and said "then who are you?"..."I am hibiki ogino,her grandson." I answer.

"Chi-Chihiro's Grandchild??" He ask weakly then I nod.
"Follow me." He said and follow him while we walk inside the bathhouse.

So it's all true... The bathhouse, The Spirit World and Kohaku..

"A Human!?" A hopping Frog said then I jumped in shock. Kohaku hold my hand and squeeze it tightly.

He's trembling..I can feel it.

As I felt his trembling hand,I squeeze back,so that I can make him comfortable then he gasp.

"W-what?" I stuttered curiously then he shook his head. He let go of me and continue to walk.

I guess he felt weird and disgust.

After a few minutes, We stopped and saw a big bathtub and a woman cleaning it alone,when she turn her head to us,she smile brightly then run toward us and hug me again tightly.

"Chihiro!!! Your back! Your Back!" She cheered then let go. "Woah! You didn't grow up ha? And you look more adorable than before! And your eyes changed----" she stopped and look at me up and down.

"Wait..You're not chihiro. Your eyes is different." She said wondering.

She look at kohaku then kohaku shook his head."He is Chihiro's grandson." Kohaku said back. She looked at me with wide eyes and form her mouth 'o'..

"N-nice to meet you ma'am my name is Hibiki Ogino." I introduced and bowed.

"Lin.." she mumbled while introducing herself "Nice to meet you too.." she added,turn her back and return to what she's doing.

"Come let's go to yubaba.." he said

Yubaba? Grandma told me that she was the witch that rules the bathhouse.

I continue  to follow him. We stepped inside the elevator. After a few minutes, we step out and enter a big door to see an old woman sitting on her desk.

"Well,well,well..you brought a human again and a boy this time." She talked to kohaku. "He's chihiro's grandson." He informed and the woman didn't answer hearing her sigh. "Now what do you want?" She ask kohaku. "I want him to--" I cut him off and said "I want to work here!!" Kohaku insist but I persuade Youbaba.
She nodded and said "fine."

"I would like to suggest that please don't steal my name ma'am. " I suggested,she sigh and nodded. She made us leave and kohaku continue to walk so I follow him,he's very quiet.  When we reach the big bathtub again he called "Lin! Stay with this boy and bring him a work clothes to wear." Lin nodded then pull my arm. "Come." She ordered. When I look at my back kohaku was gone.

We walk to a hallway and went inside a room full of sleep bags. "This is our room." She said,she walk in front of a cabinet and open it,she dig clothes while I stand behind her."Here" she handed me blue work clothes and a blue work pants just like kohaku's clothes. "You don't need your socks and shoes, Just leave them inside the cabinet below." She ordered then I nodded.
"Don't do anything foolish around here,I'm your lead so don't do anything without my command understood?" She ask then I nod,I wore the clothes she gave me and prepare. "Now let's begin the work." I follow her downstairs,She slide a door and what I see is a big bathtub. "We need to clean this thing now." She said and I wondered "just the two of us?" After I said that she nod.

While we're  working:

"So where is Sen?" She ask.
"Grandma died a week ago." I replied.
I look at her and her expression was very sad. I went in front of her and hug her "don't worry ma'am, Grandma Sen is very happy in heaven now,so please smile,she don't want to make everybody sad for her loss." I advice then she hug me back and cry. "Stupid kid! Hic! Your Grandma didn't even hug me before!" She yelp "then just imagine that I'm her hugging you." She cry louder and louder.

So Grandma Sen is very precious to them..
I feel kind of jealous of grandma for having this kind of friends.

We let go of each other then I ask."Ma'am can you be my friend?" She nod and said "just call me Lin dope." "Okay Lin."

After that, we didn't even felt that it is night already and the lights is turning off.

"Let's go back Sei." Lin ordered, Again I wondered. "Why sei?" I ask." I think it suits you because of Your grandma's name here is Sen then we'll call you sei." She explained then we giggled. When we're starting to walk. Kohaku called me."Hibiki!" I turn back and saw him. "What now dragon boy!?" Lin ask irritated. "Shut up Lin,go back to your room" Lin frowned and start to walk.

"Come with me hibiki.." he ordered, I follow him,We went it the back of the bathhouse and pass another bridge,There I saw a wide garden full of beautiful flowers. "Did you plant all of this haku?" I ask and he nod. "I plant all of this for your grandmother, It's supposed to be for her when she came back but I didn't know that the time in your world is very fast..I should have known...I should have known!!!!" He shouted and bursted into tears.

"Haku.." I mumbled and hug him then he hug me back tightly.My heart keep on pounding because of his touch, it hurts that my grandma didn't even see him before she died,It hurts that haku didn't even see her before she died.

"Call me again Chihiro.." he mumbled to my ear.

Is it okay to call me by my grand mother's name?
Is it okay to be her? Is it okay to be a....a substitute for haku...

I think deeply but respond "Haku...haku..haku..." I called and also burst into tears. "I miss you so much chihiro!!" He yelp and hug me much tightly. "I love you.." he mumbled.I just lean my chin on his shoulder and cry.

It's okay..it's okay if it's him..I really might love this dragon..even in grandmother's story I already love him, even though he love grandma Sen, it's okay...it's okay...
