The streets smelled of weed and smoke. Nearby, there were two homeless children trying to make a fire for the upcoming cold night. The mysterious man was once again on the run.
The boy stared at the corner where he murdered the little girl. It was now a crime scene. Yellow tape surrounded the area where the body was previously laid. He grinned at his work and continued his nightly stroll, searching for his next victim.
A young boy, around the age of 10, was walking alone on his phone, most likely heading home. He had on a blue book bag full of books, and he was not watching his surroundings.
Perfect, He thought.
The boy, sword in hand, crossed the street to follow him. No one was watching, as it was necessary to look only where you need to go, no where else, another reason why this part of town was dangerous. The young boy, unaware of the predator, got a call from his mom. The phone rang loudly, making Marco jump and hide quickly.
"Hello?....yeah mom, I'm on my way.......yeah, yeah I know......I'll be there soon....mom!....don't make me say it.....*sighs*fine....love you too.....bye."
The boy ended the call and out his phone in his pocket, continuing his journey home. Marco decided that the coast was clear and continued to follow the boy until he was completely alone.

"Oh no oh no OH NO!!" Star yelled, running as fast as she could to who knows where. She stopped running at downtown Echo Creek, where she thought he might have gone, but there was no sign of him.
"Marco....where are you?!" She started to worry even more.
Okay, Star, think. Where would a possible killer be on a Wednesday night? UGH, he could be anywhere! Hmmm....maybe, somewhere with no people?! But I don't know my way around without Marco's help! *sigh* he had to have left something back at the house....
Star transported herself back to Marco's house, looking for evidence of anything that could lead to Marco's disappearance. His room had no trace of a place that he would go to. Star finally gave up and started to march out of his room, but not before stepping on a piece of paper.
"What's this?" Star picked up the piece of paper and unraveled it.
11307 St. Fayes Ave.
Have fun!"An address! Now all I need to do is find out where this is at!" Star said. She looked at his computer and started to type the address in.
"A shop?" Star questioned."Why would he murder people in a shop?" Star shrugged it off and ran out the house, following the directions for its location

Another job finished, He said. Marco stood up and stared at his work. The fifth one this month. He was getting better, and He like it as well.
You and me, kid, we're goin' places. Heck, at this rate, you might say you're some sort of a serial killer. I can't wait to see what we do next. Welp, see ya, kid!
"Wha-huh?!" Marco said, confused as ever. "Why am I wearing this again? Why am I here again?"
Marco slowly made his journey home, wondering what in the world was happening to him. The last thing he remembered was sleeping on the couch with Star, and now he's in the bad part of Echo Creek again. As he was walking, he heard a faint voice from a distance, shouting his name.
"Huh?"
"MARCO!!" Star yelled, reaching her destination. She had spotted Marco from a mile away, and ran towards him as quickly as possible.
"Star?!" He freaked. She shouldn't be here. There were tears in her eyes. Why was she crying. She had ran up to him and embraced him with a tight hug.
"I-I thought I lost you...you were gone and—"
"Star, I'm right here. I'm okay," he said to calm her down.
"M-Marco, can I ask you something?"
"Anything."
"W-why are you doing this?" She asked, wiping her tears.
"Doing what?"
"Killing people..." What she said struck him in the heart. He couldn't imagine himself possibly hurting a human being (well, accept Jeremy), and here she was, asking him about the recent murders in the city.
"What are you talking about, Star?" Marco asked curiously.
"Well, you said there was ketchup stains on your suit. But ketchup stains are easy to get out...you told me that."
"Yeah..."
"But blood isn't, so I just thought—"
"Star, you know me. I wouldn't hurt a fly."
"You hurt one of Ludo's monsters, and he was a fly."
"No Star, that just means that I'm not a violent person. I don't even know how you came up with that stuff."
"Marco, please don't lie to me like that."
"I'm not! I don't even know why I'm here!" He quietly yelled. People were starting to look.
"We need to get out of here, Star. This is a bad neighborhood. We'll talk about this when we get home, alright?" He said, grabbing her hand.
"Fine..." Star said. She waved her wand to transport them back to her room.
She'll never find out.
