Star looked at Bill then the panel. She knew they couldn't defeat him so easily. They had to come up with something before he killed them both.
"Hey Bill, wanna make a deal?" Star asked with a smirk. Bill raised an eyebrow.
"Oh Hearts, don't amuse me. Do you really want to make a deal with me?" Bill asked, a hopeful look in his eyes.
Star sighed."Yeah, if it'll keep you out of Marco's mind."
Bill walked closer to her as Marco moved out of the way. "What is this deal you want to make?"
"If you get out of Marco's mind forever, then you can be in mine. I'm way more powerful, and no one suspects an adorable little girl," Star said, looking at him straight in the eye.
Marco was already at the panel, making sure Bill wasn't watching him. Marco slowly sat down at the seat and quietly went to work, finishing what he started.
Bill smiled."You make an appealing deal, Hearts. It would be stupid of me to not accept."
"Well, what can I say? I'm a princess with actual brains," Star said, fluffing her hair.
"Isn't that true," Bill said, starting to light up his hand."So, do we have a deal?"
Star looked at Marco and smirked."You might be more powerful, but you really are as distracted as me,"Star said, shooting his hand down with her wand. Marco deleted the file where Bill appeared in his dream, and Bill looked back with shocked eyes.
"Y-You've tricked me! How could you have tricked me?!" Bill said, starting to disappear. Star looked at him with the most confident smile ever.
"Bye bye, Billy!" She said as Bill disappeared from Marco's mind. Star ran to Marco and gave him a big hug.
"We did it!" Star yelled. Marco hugged back and sighed.
"I hope he doesn't fall for his trick again," Marco said."Now you've got to go."
"Right!" Star said, walking out."Thanks for all your help."
"Anytime, Star."

Star woke up on Marco's bed. Seeing that he was asleep, she slowly got out of his bed and watched him grab his pillow. She smiled. The demon was finally out of his head. It was finally over.
Marco woke up and rubbed his eyes. He saw Star about to leave his room when he grabbed her hand.
"Did it work?" he asked. Star nodded her head. Marco pulled her into a hug and cried.
"Marco...are you okay?" Star asked, giggling. Marco nodded his head in her shoulder.
"Thank you....so much," he said, hugging her even tighter. Her hearts started to glow again, making her blush in embarrassment.
"Um, Marco?! I sort of gotta go like RIGHT NOW," Star said, wiggling out of the hug. She ran out of the room and closed the door, leaving Marco dumbfounded and confused.
What happened?
Star laid in her bed and just stared at the ceiling. Her hearts finally calm down its light, but she was still blushing. She couldn't put her mind to it as to why this kept happening, but it only happened around Marco. Was it because of their souls bonding? Maybe it was the fact that she cared for Marco so much
Marco opened the door and walked into her room.
"Star? Is everything okay? You were acting weird back there," Marco asked, sitting next to her body. Star sighed and sat up, grabbing one of her pillows in the process.
"I don't know, Marco. Yeah, we got Bill, but what about those people that you—well he killed? They're still looking for him," Star said, looking down.
Marco sighed. He knew that he was in big trouble, even if he was mind controlled. Those innocent people were killed because of him, and those police officers were eventually going to find out. Marco put his hands on his face and shook his head.
"This is not gonna be good," he said , laying himself down on the bed."Just when I thought it was over."
"M-Maybe we can bring them back to life! There's some type of spell—"
"Star, even if they do come back, they'll only come back as zombies or worse. We already caused enough trouble as is."
Star looked at him and sighed."What do you think we should do?" Star asked, starting to cry. Marco looked up at her and sat up. He carried the rest of his body onto the bed and moved in closer to her.
"H-Hey! It's gonna be alright! Maybe you'll get to visit me in—"
"Don't say that!" Star said, grabbing his shirt. Star pulled him in and cried onto his chest."You're not gonna leave me likes this."
"Star, I can't just stay here. They'll find me and—"
"We can go to another dimension! They'll never find you there! And....and—"
"No. Running away isn't the answer," Marco said, resting his head on top of hers. Star pushed away and crawled under her bed, grabbing her book. Star lit her wand as a flashlight and flipped through the pages.
"What're you looking for?" Marco asked, looking down on his friend. Star looked up at him them back down at her book.
"Maybe we can try the time travel spell again! I mean, this time we probably know how to turn back time, right?" Star said, trying to find the pages leading to time travel.
"Star, that isn't gonna work! We just have to face the facts!"
"Do you want to be free or not?! Do you want those innocent people alive or not?!" Star asked, knowing that he couldn't argue with that. He sighed and climbed out of the bed, helping her find the page.
"Hey, there it is! I think," he said, pointing to a page covered in blue ink. Star looked at it and read the Mewnian writing.
"Okay....I think I got the spell right!" Star said, starting to wave her wand. She grabbed Marco's hand and smiled.
"Ready?" Star asked.
"Yep!"
