Everything seemed right. No one was dead anymore, and Star and Marco went back to their bubbly-filled lives. Everything should be right.

Right?

Marco sat at the dining room table, trying to finish his homework. Chewing on his pencil, he tried to figure out that last math question that would complete the entire problem. Yet, he couldn't concentrate. Between his crimes of murder and his mixed feelings for Star, his mind just wasn't on the Pythagorean Theorum. He sat his pencil down and took a deep breath in and out. He covered his face with his hands and slid his body down to the floor.

Just then, Star came down the stairs to see a puddle of miserable in front of her.

"What's wrong, Marco?" She asked with concern.

"I don't know Star, I just feel weird," Marco said, sitting up from the floor.

"Is Bill still controlling your mind? Because I can get in there and—"

"No, it's not him, it's just that I killed so many innocent people," Marco said, standing up. "I don't want to think about that stuff."

"Well, we could go back in time again, but that's really risky and we could get sucked in a time warp," Star said, sitting on a chair.

"I would rather have that than think about the five people I killed!" Marco said, roughing up his head while hyperventilating. A hand laid on his shoulder and turned him around.

"Okay, we'll try the time travel thing, but you know that when we do this you'll forget everything and we might have to go through this process again," Star explained to him as he raised his eyebrow.

"'Forget'? What do you mean?"

"Marco, if we want to stop this for good, we have to go back to when before you fall asleep and meet Bill. But then you still want the game and he might get into your mind again. Bill won't forget what happened this week. You will," Star said in a serious tone.

"What? Won't I be with you?" Marco asked.

"You can't come with me silly! Two Marcos in the same universe at the same location is too crazy for time to handle! I'm gonna go by myself and tell your former self not to fall asleep!" Star said, waving her wand around. "Now, what time did you fall asleep?"

"I think around 2am?" Marco said.

"All I need!" Star said as her wand started to glow a bright pink and flash colorful blue streaks around the room. Marco watched in awe as the princess twirled around the sparkling color and disappear in an instant, leaving a bit of glitter behind her.

"Be safe, Star," he said, examining the glitter and holding on to his chest.

Star looked around the familiar house, only the difference was that it was black and white to represent the past. She walked towards Marco's room and saw him on his laptop, looking up games to buy.

"MARCO!" Star yelled at a jumpy Marco, who turned around and gave her a scowl. But then his eyes widened, as he saw the Star he knew and love in a grayscale shade.

"Star? Why are you—"

"NO TIME TO EXPLAIN! All you need to know is that you need to go to bed before—"

"NEW GAME."

Marco never said it was an ad for it!

"Hold on, Star, I got check this out!"

"NO!" She said, slamming the laptop close.

"STAR! WHAT THE HECK?!" Marco exclaimed, slowly opening the laptop back up. Star took the computer and ran away with it, but Marco soon caught up with her in the middle of the hallway.

"Star! Why did you just do that?!"

"Go to bed! NOW! You can do this tomorrow!

"NEW GAME."

"Oh, shut up, computer! How do you turn this thing off?!" Star said, opening the laptop and trying to turn it off, but all it did was pop up more ads for the same game Marco wanted, until the laptop dropped on its own.

"Great! Now you broke my laptop!" Marco said angrily, picking it up. But the laptop stung him, making him drop the laptop as well.

"What the...what did you do?!" Marco asked, looking at Star.

"Listen Marco, I'm from a week into the future. I came here to tell you—"

"Go ahead, tell him Hearts."

The simple crack of his voice made Star shudder. She looked at Marco, trying her best not to look behind her, only mouthing the words run.

"No, I'm not leaving you alone here, and who is he?"

"Ignore him Marco, please, she whispered, pleading with him to run.

"Hey, who are you?" Marco said, walking towards the figure.

"So, I see you want the game!"

No.

"I can get you what you want."

NO.

"For a personal price."

"NO!" Star yelled, turning around and shooting a huge arrow of green magic towards the one eyed fool, blasting him down the stairs.

"Marco, we have to go, NOW," Star said, casting a quick spell on her and her friend to the park.

"Wait, so you're telling me that guys name is Bill, and he's gonna make me kill people for a game?!" Marco recapped the words Star said to him, questioning if it were true or not.

"Yes! And it all could be prevented if you go to sleep! I'm gonna watch you sleep until you wake up in the morning because your movement can tell me if he's in your mind," Star said, sitting on the bench and popping up a comfortable bed for Marco to sleep in.

Marco looked at her with confusion. "And are you sure this gonna work?"

"Yes! He can't get in your mind anymore because tonight is the night he did so and I'll destroy him before you make any deals with him," Star said.

"I don't think I'll be making any deals with him after all of that," Marco said, getting comfortable in the bed.

"Oh, he can be very persuasive, Marco. Just try to wake up if you see him," Star said.

"Okay," Marco said, still confused by this whole situation. He laid down and drifted off to sleep, while Star intently watched him, until she fell asleep as well.

"Having fun, hearts? Well I'm gonna make this night a whole lot more fun."
