"Oh my gosh Marco! Why would you do that?! How could you be so dumb?!" Star shouted, pacing back and forth in front of him.

"I'm sorry! I just really wanted that game! I didn't know he wanted me to MURDER people!" Marco replied, slowly getting scared himself.

"What are we gonna do? What are we gonna DO?!" Star kept asking herself, her hair getting more frizzy as she contemplated decisions.

Marco looked at the book more closely, trying to find something written in his own language. His eyes came across a certain message written in what seemed to be blood.

"If you must defeat the monster that you have into, you must defeat him within the min—"

"Hey, Star! I think I found something that could help!" Marco said, gesturing her to come and look. She plopped down and read what was pointing to, focusing on the missing word that would help them solve this dilemma.

"Min what? Mints? Mines? Minerals?" Star thought long and hard about this, causing her brain to malfunction.

While the young princess was having a whale of time trying to figure out the word, Marco grabbed a notebook and jotted down words that popped into his head. He thought about the kind of tricks the demon played on him and how it would relate to his defeat.

He looked at the book and  read more details about the infamous villain. He would go into people's dreams and make deals with him, making his terrorizing moves by possessing each body.

So, he only works through dreams, huh?  Marco thought.

"MARCO! I remember my mother telling me about him! She said that she knew what he meant to write and she told me!" Star said, peeking Marco's interest in the word.

"Well? What is it?" Marco asked, waiting for the answer patiently.

"I.......don't know YET," Star said, putting more emphasis on the 'yet' than she wanted.

"Marco? Star? Are you in here?" A voice called out behind the door.

"Yeah mom, we're fine," Marco replied.

Marco's mother opened the door. "Oh thanks goodness! I thought you two were out! I don't want you two going out at night with that killer on the loose. ¿Comprende?"

Marco and Star looked at each other with worried looks on their faces.

"Comprende."

"Bien. Now don't stay up too late!" She said, and with that, she closed the door.

"As I was saying, I think it had something to do with dreams," Star said, think of ways she could put it into words.

Dreams? I knew that already. What is related to dreams? Imagination? Illusion? Brain? MIND.

"Star! It's the mind! We have to defeat him in my mind!" Marco said, pointing at his head.

"You mean, go into your brain? I don't know, Marco. I know how teenage boys are. And I know what they thin—"

"C'mon, Star, that's the least of our worries! Besides, I don't even think like that!" Marco said, blushing. He was slightly offended that Star would say such a thing.
