One of Those Nights

"Go Bestfriend that's my bestfriend!" Avia says swinging Shawns hand back and forth.
"I can't believe my boy is going on tour!" She says.
"I know right?! My biggest one yet." Shawn says.
They try to walk on the narrow sidewalk without stepping on the cracks.
Avia's POV:
I hold hands with my best friend ever and walk to the lake. It was our favorite spot to watch sunsets since 5th grade.
"I'm so freaking proud of you, you little monkey!" I say.
This boy makes me so proud.
"I'm way prouder of you trust me" he sighs.
"What the...? I do nothing." I laugh.
"No but but you grew up so wonderfully and without you, I would have never come this far." He smiles.
"Awww" i laugh.
It was so cheesy but after all I do love him and can't believe he's going on tour again.
"Last time you were on tour it felt so lonely." I say sadly.
"Well you always have Nadia, Tori and Chelsea. Right?" Shawn questions.
"Yeah but that's not the same" I frown.
Shawn embraces me with a big warm hug.
"How about this? My album is called Handwritten, my songs are handwritten and I'm going to send letters to you that are handwritten." He says smiling like a 5 year old that just got a new toy.
"Letters? Wtf Shawn." I laugh."love it but it's 2016. We can still text right?" I say.
"Oh of course but you're worth as much as my songs if not more to me." He smiles.
That smile kills me. He's so damn cute.
Shawn and I aren't dating but when I turned 16 I felt that i had feelings for him. I know I'm stupid. He's my best friend. But what can I say? He's got the looks, the personality and the talent. But I'm not good enough for him.
