The Letter

Avia's POV

"Avia May?! You got mail from Shawn!" My dad yells from the bottom of the stairs.

I almost fall down the stairs from running so fast. Yes we have texted and everything for the past week but It's so good to have a physical thing to touch from Shawn. There was a small package that my dad was holding out to me. I opened it right on the spot. Inside there was a snow globe but instead of snow, there was glitter. I collect them from all over the world. In the middle of the snow globe there was a Statue Of Liberty and a miniature New York City. Under the snow globe, there was a folded up paper. When i opened the paper, a picture fell out. it was a selfie that Shawn took in Time Square. The letter read:

Avi Bear,

I wish you were here. I'm missing you more than ever at this point and want to hug you so badly. I went to Time Square. It's so amazing! I know you'd love it here. One day I'm going to take you here and we will get to experience it together. I hope you like your snow globe. I know you love those things haha. I also know glitter is your favorite. I literally have the funniest story on how I got that snow globe. It was the last one and i wanted it so bad but this little snobby ass child picked it up first and kept begging her mother to buy it. She threw a fit and everything. Her mother said no and she carried it all over the gift shop.Me, being dumb as i am, followed her around the store and kept doing so because i didn't want her to lose it. So, when she left, my manager Andy went to help me find another one like it because the little girl's mother let her buy it. It was the nicest one there and I thought you'd like it. Can't wait to see you.

The picture was of us laying on the grass laughing when Shawn tried to take a picture but then he burped and we bursted out laughter. We looked so happy.

I attached a picture of us looking at each other playing 'Try not to blink'. We  were looking wide eyed and Shawn was trying so hard not to laugh and I looked very serious and focused trying to take a selfie of the moment.

A/N: Sorry this was short but i have to study for an Algebra test. UUGH. Aren't Avia and Shawn Best friend goals? Omg the feels rn are killing me. I'll try and update tomorrow.
