Avia Martin is just a normal Canadian teenager. She has what most girls want nowadays, Shawn Mendes. Best friends since 4th grade, Avia and Shawn are inseparable. Until Shawn goes on tour. He is a singer/songwriter and Avia wants more than anything...
"Where do you want to go?" Geoff asks looking up from his phone.
We look at the attraction list he has lined up on his phone.
"Food." Shawn laughs.
"Ok we'll eat and then go." I suggest.
"Sounds like a plan." Geoff agrees.
After we eat, we go to a river that crosses to Belgium.
"Hey get a picture of this!" I say giving Shawn my camera.
(A/N: This is a picture of when i visited Holland in 2015. This river actually crosses to Belgium. I was on the Netherlands side.)

When he snapped the picture. A man from one of the boats asked us if we wanted a ride to Belgium. (A/N: No joke this happened to my family too, except he didn't speak English, my Mom's friend (who we were visiting) speaks Dutch.)
"I heard you speak English." The man says.
"Yes we do and I'm guessing you do too!" Geoff says shaking the captain's hand.
"Yes. I learn it long time ago. Where do you come from?" The captain asks.
"Canada." Shawn smiles.
"Oh ok. You look familiar." The captain smiles.
"Yeah I get that a lot." He says.
We all laugh.
"I know you! My daughter loves you! " The captain exclaims.
"I'd love to meet her." Shawn smiles.
"Come to my boat! Come! She is cleaning." The captain laughs cheerfully.
"Maeve , vond ik Shawn mendes! (Nisha, I found Shawn Mendes!)" The Captain yells to his daughter.
" Ha ha erg grappig papa. Dat zeg je altijd. (Ha ha very funny dad, you always say that.)" She replies from around the corner.
"Sing." The captain whispers.
"I promise that one day I'll be around I'll keep you safe I'll keep you sound." Shawn begins.
"Papa, waar heb je leren zingen als dat? (Dad, where did you learn to sing like that?)" She says walking from around the corner.
" Dat was ik niet. (That wasn't me)" He laughs.
"Papa, je hebt gelijk! (Dad, you're right!)" She screams running to hug shawn.
It was literally so cute. Geoff and I sat back in awe.
"Well all aboard?!" The captain smiles and heads to his wheel.
"Aye Aye Captain." Geoff shouts.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOO" I sing.
"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" Shawn laughs.
"Sponge Bob Square Pants!" Geoff yells.
We all laugh.
"kan ik een foto maken? (Can we take a photo?)" Maeve asks.
"She wants to know if she can have a photo with you." The captain says from his wheel.
"Ja! (Yes)" Shawn smiles.
I snap a photo on her phone for them.
"Dank je (Thank you)" She says.
We get off the boat and walk around and stand on Belgium. When we're done, we get into the boat to go back to the Netherlands. We thank the captain and his daughter and get into our car.
"Well that was fun!" Shawn laughs.
