Avia's POV
At the end of the week, we start packing and getting ready for Germany.
"Avi? In Germany, do they have things like here in Canada?" Aubrey, my 11 year old sister asks.
(Avia has two siblings, a sister, and a 5 year old brother named Adam)
"Yes, they just have different cultures." I say choosing between two kinds of bathing suits to bring.
"Oh, I bet they put their milk in bottles." Aubrey says fiddling with my trophies.
"I'll be sure to tell you ok?" I say stuffing both bathing suits in my bag.
(FUN FACT: Canadians have bagged milk 🍼)

I hear a car pull up to my driveway.
It was the Mendes' car.
"Mendes' are here!" I yell.
I say bye to my family, hug and kiss everyone and make my way outside.
"Hey babe." Shawn winks.
"Hey cutie." I reply kissing him on the cheek.
He takes my bag and suitcase to pit in the trunk.
Only Mrs. Mendes and Aaliyah are in the car.
"Where's Mr. Manny?" I ask.
"He's at home." She smiles.
"Oh ok" I say buckling my seatbelt.
We go to a gas station and Shawn and I get out to buy food. I go find a magazine for the flight and see something.
StarPop Magazine.
'Shawn Mendes and "Girlfriend?" Spotted in shopping center.'
"Shawn come here!" I laugh.
"What?" He says carting about 4 packs of candy.
"Look." I point.
We laugh and buy the magazine.
When we get back to the car, we show Aaliyah and Mrs.Mendes.
"We made a cover!" Shawn laughs.
"You two are something else" Mrs.Mendes laughs.

At the airport we say goodbye to Aaliyah and Shawn's Mother and board the plane.
We find Geoff (Shawn's friend) and head to our seats.
"I can't wait!" I squeal.
"I'm happy that you're happy." He smiles and puts his arm around me.
Our seats were right next to each other.
All we do during the rest of the flight is really just sleep and listen to music.

"Guten Morgen passengers! We have landed in Germany! The weather is 23 degrees Celsius. It's partly cloudy with lots of sunshine. Have a great day."
We get off of the plane and go through customs.
"We're here I can't believe it!" I hug Shawn.
He giggles.
"Let's go eat." He says grabbing my hand. 
We're in Germany!
