"So this is college?" I thought to myself as she walked to the nearest empty seat. I can certainly get used to all the eye candy.
I paid very little attention to what Dr. Vienna was lecturing about. First off, I couldn't understand a bit of what she was saying. It makes no sense to me how someone could have their doctorate in English and teach college level English, but can't speak a lick of it. I can already tell it's going to be a hell of long semester. But enough about English. Let's talk about Sara.
Sara was voted prom queen of my high school, which is why I immediately knew who she was when she walked in. She had beautiful light brown skin that had a nice glow to it. A product of her mixed race. Her gorgeous green eyes made me melt every time she glanced my way. She had a nice petite, but curvy figure and her breasts were so elegant and voluptuous. All of those years of playing soccer really paid off because she had the body of a goddess. I have a thin frame, but she definitely has me beat because of her athleticism. Her hair was long, wavy, and flowed in the wind, unlike my short and choppy hairstyle. Despite her model looks, she was very intelligent and could've gone to an Ivy League school right out of high school, which is why I'm confused as to why she's in community college.
I never really talked to Sara in high school. We had a class together freshman year, other than that we weren't in the same social circle. I wasn't a basket case or anything. My group of friends ranged from stoner hippies to the musicians and other artsy types. She didn't fall under any of those categories from what I could see because she hung out with all of the other athletes. She even dated the captain of the soccer team for a while. I never really had a relationship in high school. I did however, have several relations with girls at my school. Not to sound cocky or anything, but I did get more girls than most of my guy friends. My girl friends were always so worried about my 'lifestyle' which in their eyes wasn't as acceptable as any of the guys we hung out with. They wanted me to settle down and just stay with one person, but I was too content with my life to change it and I still am. Love sucks and I'll say it again and again until I die. And i don't mean that in a dark and morbid way at all. Just sayin' it as it is.
I guess you can say that I never really focused much on Sara in high school. She's obviously gorgeous, but I didn't know much about her, other than the gossip I heard from other girls in my class. Like I said, we didn't really hang out with the same people, so I didn't bother trying to get to know her. That was high school though and we're in college now, so there's definitely nothing holding me back when it comes to hooking up with a hottie.
It was now 2:05 and thus time to get the hell out of here. Class was only an hour and forty-five minutes, but it felt like forever sitting in that classroom listening to gibberish the entire time. I always enjoyed English and never had a problem with it until now. It's probably a good idea for me to get a few peoples' numbers in case I misheard something, but since everyone practically stampeded out the room I'll have to wait until next class to do it. It's whatever though. Our homework was pretty simple. We just had to write a one page summary on a documentary we watched called "The Secret." In case you didn't know, the secret of life is The Law of Attraction.
After class I decided to go to the bookstore and get my books since I didn't have another class until later in the day. Plus it gave me some time to check out the beautiful women that roamed the campus. My friend Summer who graduated a year ahead of me definitely wasn't lying when she told me I'd be excited for college. Hmmm I wonder if she has class right now. Well anyway, as I was walking to the campus bookstore I saw this really cute blonde sitting on a bench reading one of my favorite books, Looking for Alaska by John Green. She was also wearing a Tegan and Sara shirt, which was usually code for 'lesbian' so I decided to take my chances. Before she could even look up from her book I walked over and sat next to her.
"Looking for Alaska is a really good book," I said as I smiled at her. "Have you read Paper Towns?" I asked.
"Yeah! I love that book!" She replied with the biggest smile on her face. I could tell she was a very bubbly person judging by the way she responded. People would usually give lifeless answers to a random people coming up to them. "I don't know anyone else who likes John Green, which is kinda weird because I always thought he was a popular author. I'm Cindi by the way," she added, still smiling.
"Nice to meet you Cindi, I'm Madison. So I see you like Tegan and Sara. I saw them a while back at Copley Symphony Hall. They were amazing. That show was definitely one for the books."
"No way I was there too!" she exclaimed.
"Then I guess it's fate that we met," I said in a flirtatious way. I grinned as she blushed."I don't mean to be rude by interrupting your reading, but would you like to get a bite to eat or something? I'm starving. "
"Sure sounds great," she replied. I could tell that she was definitely into me as much as I was into her. "I'm supposed to meet my friend at this sushi place across the street from campus. How does that sound?" she said with a nervous look on her face, as if she was worried I'd turn down. That look quickly went away when I happily agreed to the plans. Moments later Cindi's phone rings.
"Hey girly!" she said as she answered her phone. "Yeah I'm on my way and I'm bringing a friend if you don't mind...okay cool. See you there chica. Okay bye! "
"Sorry about that. My friend's waiting at the sushi place for us. I'm always late," she giggled.
"No worries. Shall we go?" I replied. She nodded and we were on our way to get food. I was pretty stoked that I met someone on the first day without really trying. Now all I have to do is get her friend to approve then I can seal the deal.
The walk to the restaurant was pretty chill. Cindi seemed like a really exciting person, so I could tell that we would have a lot of fun if you know what I mean.
The sushi place was a small, Jamaican themed restaurant, which was nice because they played a lot of good reggae. As we walked to meet Cindi's friend I noticed a familiar face. Then I quickly realized that the friend we were meeting was Sara.
On the right is a pic of Sara!
I know it took forever to continue the chapter, but I hope you enjoyed it c: Please comment and vote if you liked it and want me to continue. Oh and please excuse any grammatical errors. I'm a little too lazy and tired from work to edit this lol.-Alexias
