‘Wake up.’ Abbie whispered nudging me. I ignored her, I didn’t care anymore really.

‘Wake up!’ She suddenly shook me so I opened my eyes squinting in the light.

‘What?!!’ I shouted at her. Probably too violently.

She looked taken aback. I don’t think she had expected that. ‘You fell asleep. Were outside BL/Ind.*

I sighed ‘Im sorry, I shouldn’t shout. Why are we here?’ This was the last place I wanted to be at the moment. The building was huge. And white. I swear, BL/Ind. Are obsessed with that colour. They probably thing its ‘sterile’ or something. Another one of their stupid ideas.

‘Well. They still have my daughter.’ Abbie said looking away.

Pulling my hood down and sitting up I realized I had to help her. This had happened to me. And it had ended badly. I knew how she felt and she had comforted me so this was the least I could do. And it would annoy Korse. Which was always a plus.

Taking her hand I looked at her, ‘Were gunna find her okay, I promise.’ I tried not to show the worry in my voice. What if we didn’t?

‘okay.’ Was all she could say.

I jumped out of the car and Abbie followed me slowly. She clearly wasn’t very happy.

‘Come on.’ I whispered.

Abbie Pulled her hood up and I put my Blue mask on. Id had this for years now it was like a part of me. We both held our ray guns close and skimmed along the wall as low down as we could. There were dracs right infront of the door way. They were just standing there milling around, so I was sure they would have enjoyed a good fight.

‘I’ll get them.’ Abbie whispered leaping forwards before I could stop her. But the dracs reacted quickly and one of them shot her in the leg. I watched her collapse to the floor and cry out in agony. What the hell was I supposed to do now? Me verses 4 dracs. All I could do was surrender. Not very heroic but it was my only plan if I wanted to help Abbie, which I did.

Stepping out of the shadows I slid my ray gun in my holster and took my mask off. The dracs swivled round to face me and over their shoulders I could still make out Abbies figure on the floor. Walking forwards slowly I raised my hands.

‘ Okay guys.’ I said clearly. ‘I don’t want no fight.’ One of the dracs smirked at me and I had to fight the urge to hit him.

‘So what are we ment to do with you then?’ The shortest Drac asked.

I looked down at him. ‘Leave us alone.’

‘But your on BL/Ind property and you’re a killjoy. Im afraid I will have to get the boss.’

‘Shame.’ I sighed.

I knew this would be a better option. The weird thing with dracs is if you don’t try to fight with them and clearly put your gun away. Most of the time. They wont hurt you, I have no idea why and if that ever happened the other way around I would defiantly seize the opportunity to attack. But hey, im not arguing.

‘Hello again.’ Said a voice from behind me.

 I knew that voice. Korse.

I span around not trying to hide my anger.

‘Hey, what got your mask in a twist?’ he smurked.

I walked slowly over to Abbie and kneeled next to her. Looking at Korse I slurred angrily ‘Where the hell is she?’

‘Who?’ Korse asked. I wasn’t an idiot, he clearly knew what I ment. And Abbie knew that as well because I heard her whisper her daughters name. Sky.

‘You know perfectly well who!’ I jumped up and paced up to him.

‘Oh, the girl.’ He smiled.

‘Where, is, she?’ Shoving him backwards he fell to the floor.

I regretted that though because a drac lept towards me and held my arms behind my back. Jeeze.

Korse stumbled up with the help of the small drac. ‘Shes here. Why? Shes not your daughter. You’ve already lost everything.’

Okay. Now I was angry. I kicked the drac holding me with my heel, I was so angry that it was pretty powerfull. I don’t think the drac had been expecting this so he let go for a split second, in that split second I flew at Korse my arms reeling. He looked up in surprise and stumbled backwards.

‘Your not having her back.’ He sneered.

Korse was up against a wall now, he had no where to go. Holding in the will to hit him I managed to say, ‘Bring her out here. Now.’

He just looked at me, thinking I guessed.

‘Okay.’  He smiled. ‘I will.’

A few moments later a drac came out of a door dragging someone behind him. I heard Abbie stand up but she wasn’t looking too strong so I stood next to here just incase. The person the drac was dragging turned out to be a girl. She was about 9, rather tall and had ginger hair. I guessed this was Abbies natural colour, but I didn’t ask.

‘Mum!’ She cried. I turned to look at Abbie. She looked relieved. Thank god.

‘Its okay,.’ She whispered. ‘Were gunna get you out of here, Im sorry.’

As soon as Korse heard that he stormed over to the drac and grabbed the girl. He took out his ray gun.

‘Korse. What the hell are you doing?!’ I shouted naturally getting my own ray gun out.

‘Im teaching you all a lesson. You two, you don’t deserve anyone, you don’t even deserve each other.’

Korse was looking at Abbie now. But Abbie was just looking at her daughter, I saw her mouth the words, ‘I love you.’

And then, Korse, shot her.
