It was late into the afternoon the sky had gone over cast while Carlisle checked Sam over and after a long battle he examined Dean to, all the while he answered their questions...
"So Carlisle, how old are you?" Sam asked as he removed his coat.
"341.." he answered taking his coat from him and then turning to Dean for his jacket, Dean took it off and handed it to him.
"341 huh? looking good Doc." Dean smirked pointed and then winked as he walked around Carlisle's office looking at the verious paintings and books. Sam thought for a second then took in a breath through his nose then let it out of his mouth before he spoke.
"So you were born around the late 1600's?"
"Yes, 1664 to be exact...excuse me a moment..."
Carlisle disappeared with their things but returned just as fast carrying a blood pressure monitor and his stethoscope.
"Please..." he pulled out a fold up padded examination table then set it up. "...Sam would you like to sit here for me?"
"Sure..." Sam sat with his legs hanging over the edge, Carlisle put his stethoscope around his neck and he opend the cuff on the blood pressure monitor, Sam removed his hoodie so Carlisle could put the monitor on Sam's left arm, then he steadyly pumped it up placed the end of the stethoscope on the inside of Sam's arm and pressed while he counted looking at his watch.
"Ok, so we've established your a vampire, your 341 years old, you can move pretty damn fast and your eyes change colour according to your mood and dietary needs..."
"Yes thats right...your blood pressures fine Sam, I'll just check to see if you recieved any injury other than the whiplash you suffered, could you remove your tee shirt and lie down for me?" Sam nodded and complied with Carlisle's request.
"So how come you can go out in the sunlight?" Sam asked while Carlisle removed the blood pressure cuff and checked him over.
"We cannot go into direct sunlight, but we can go out during the day." Dean sat on the corner of a large desk that housed verious papers, a computer and other things.
"Why not direct sunlight?" Carlisle went around the other side of Sam so he was facing Dean.
"As I said before, we are different from others of our kind, I would have to show you it would be easier than explaining it." Dean leaned forward slightly. "Is it because you burn in sunlight or is that just a myth?" Carlisle chuckled. "Its a myth...Sam could you sit up and spin around this way for me? with your back to Dean..." Sam complied. "How about the no reflection thing?" Sam asked while Carlisle came around and examined Sam's neck.
"Thats a myth."
"Garlic?" Dean said looking around for a mirror to see if he was bluffing.
"Myth."
"Crucifix s'?" Sam said maneuvering his head from left to right.
"Myth, I have my father's Crucifix still, it is on the wall just outside the door if you wish to take a look...Sam you are fine just try not to strain your neck ok?"
"I'll try..." he put his tee shirt and hoodie back on. "Thank you."
"Your more than welcome, Dean would you..." Dean put his hands up in protest.
