Fawn's POV;

"NO!" I yelled as the person dragged me away from my friends. I desperately tried to kick away from them, but to no use. I took one last look at my friends, and the last thing I remember seeing was the terrified look on Scarlett's face, and the worried and angry look on Kyle's. He was pretty defensive over me and Allena. At least they were together. Though I was alone. Alone.
"Move it." The man ordered as he shoved me to try to get me to walk faster. I have no clue where we are going. I'm scared, and I'm not going to hide it anymore. I'm really, really scared. I obey. We walked until we got to the end of the basement hallway, where I saw other kids my age being ordered around by another man. Some looked even younger than Scarlett. Maybe 5? I watched in horror as I watched a full grown man kick a kid who looked as young as Scarlett, to move faster. They let out a yelp and then followed the rest of the kids.
"This way." The man ordered, and he directed me into a room that looked the size of a small bedroom. It had a bed, and that was it.
"Go." He ordered again, his voice strict.
"What are you doing with my friends." I demanded.
"Don't worry about your friends, I'd been more worried about yourself. NOW GO!" The man yelled before shoving me into the room.
"Someone will be here shortly to explain things. If you think I'm bad, you don't want to get on his bad side. Do as we say. Or there will be consequences." The man said before shutting the door. I can hear the "Click." Of the lock on the door and I can tell that I'm not getting out of here. Pacing the room, I thought of the worst case scenario.
"Okay, your friends and family could die.." I thought. "Oh, and you." The thought of my friends and family dying was unbearable. It was too painful to think of... The door opened, and a man walked in. He looked angry.
"Hello, resident #124." He said to me, plainly.
"My name is F-" I started to say. But was interrupted.
"Look, I really couldn't care less what your name is. All I know about you is your number and that your either a half breed-" He started to say. Then it was my turn to cut him off. I hate the word: "Half breed."
"-Panda person." I said irritated. He ignored me entirely. Well, almost. He continued.
"- Or, you were being difficult to the people in charge of you. I can tell by talking to you for five seconds that your both. Think your brave, do you? Think your better then everyone else, do you?" The man asked me, obviously angry.
"No... I just wanted to know what was going on. And what gives you the right to take kids and basically kidnap them? I had to leave MY DOG because of you guys!" I argued, forgetting why I was sent down here in the first place. Whatever I said must have bothered this guy, because all of a sudden he had a strict look to him, even more so than before.
"DO NOT SPEAK TO A PERSON OF AUTHORITY LIKE THAT!" He yelled. Okay, then I shut up.
"As I was saying, your down here for a reason. Firstly, we couldn't risk putting the other kids in danger because of your species aggressive behaviour. Secondly, you acted defiantly to the guards, as well as the people in charge of upstairs kids. Do you understand?" He asked me. I nodded. I was just going to play along know, until I figured out how to get to the rest of my group.
"Now..." He continued. Dangerously calm. "In the basement here the rules are different than upstairs. You aren't allowed to speak unless spoken to, and the right of sharing a dormitory with other kids has been taken away. Also, the smallest of things have consequences. We aren't afraid to use what we call "Physical force" if we have to to get the point across. You are, however, still supposed to attend school with the other kids your age. Every morning at 6:00am, you will wake up and get ready, and at 6:10am, we will bring you down to the cafeteria to eat breakfast, if you didn't have that privilege taken away already. Then we'll take you to school." The man said authoritatively.
"I really hate this guy..." I thought.
"Fine." I said, but suddenly something caught the corner of my eye throughout the window on the door. Scarlett. No... They couldn't put a 6 year old down here, they just couldn't. How could they do this? I push past the man and run for the door.
"SCARLETT!" I yelled, trying to catch her attention. She was following another man. When she looked back and saw me, she stopped.
"FAWN!" She yelled.
"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP!" The man she was following yelled, then kicked in the leg and ordered her to keep walking. Now I was just angry.
"But- but my sister!" Scarlett cried. When she tried to run towards me, the man she was following grabbed her hand and yanked her towards him.
"Do I look like I care?" He asked her. Scarlett's head sagged to the ground.
"HEY!" I yelled. "Leave her alone!"
But before I could run up to Scarlett, someone yanked ME into the room I was previously in. Before I could say anything, the man kicked me hard in the side.
"Ow..." I mumbled.
"That... Was for running out of the room. This..." The man started, then he kicked me in the leg again.
"- is for yelling out. Don't do that again." The man said sternly. I glared at him.
"My sister is a FIVE year old, and he KICKED her! How could he DO that?" I asked angrily. I'm usually a really shy person, but not when someone messes my friends, family, or animals.
"I told you down here it's really strict, and we aren't afraid to use physical force." The man said, smirking. Before he left the room, I said:
"You guys are twisted." He simply made a twisted smirk and walked away, saying:
"Maybe." Before he walked out the door and locked it.
