Tyler's POV:

School for Caden, Kyle and I was boring as HECK.  As school usually is.  To make matters worse, The teacher was awful.  He sent one kid down to the isolation room for talking during class even! I heard another teacher yelling across the hall as well, I wondered why...
After We were dismissed from class, The three of us started to walk back to our room.  Kyle came with us so he can grab some of his things before he left for the isolation room.  He has been pretty ignorant lately, but that's just Kyle for you.
"I am really not liking our teacher." Caden whispered, so the lady leading us wouldn't overhear.
"Yeah.  He's so STRICT.  And I have so much homework now..." I replied.  We past two girls about our age, and they seemed to have the same problem.  They were talking about some girl in their class getting yelled at for not understanding the work at all.
''Do you think that was one of the girls?" Caden asked a little worriedly.
"I almost doubt it.  There's a lot of kids in this place." I reassured him, even though I had my doubts.  as we kept walking, I tried to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"I know, She didn't deserve to be yelled at... The least Mr.Stevens could have done was help her." One of the girls said.
"Didn't she say something about having developmental issues or something Ike that?" The other one asked.
"I think so..." The first one answered.  Kyle suddenly looked shocked, and a little mad.
"Those idiots..." He muttered under his breath.
"What is it?" I asked him.
"I know who the teacher was yelling at.  And I swear, if I ever see whoever did that to her, I swear..." He replied.
"Who was it?" I asked again.  I really hoped that it wasn't one of our friends...
"Allena... How could that jerk do that to her?" Kyle answered. It was Caden's turn to look shocked.
"Are-are you sure about that Kyle? You could just be getting worried about her." He asked.
"I swear.  I just can't believe it though." Kyle repeated.
"One of the girls said something about Allena having some sort of developmental problem, that can't be true, can it?" I asked shocked.  Allena said she had problems controlling her emotions, but she never said anything about that.
"I'll explain later.  We just need to get out of this stupid place." He answered. We made it to our room.
"You two get in there and do your homework, and you can go and say your goodbyes, you're coming with me." The lady ordered flatly.  We walked in, and Kyle looked at us.
"Don't do anything stupid, okay?  I don't want you going where I'm going.  This place is bad enough." He said.
"Okay.  Be careful about what you do too, they're going to be pretty hard on you..." Caden replied.
"Yeah, Be careful bro.  See you tomorrow." I added.  Kyle gave us a small smile and left.
Caden and I spent the next two hours doing homework and studying, just in case there was some dumb pop quiz tomorrow.  Shockingly, before I knew it, someone came in to tell us to go to bed.  Just as the door shut, we heard some loud talking.
"What are they talking about?" Caden asked suspiciously.
"Dunno." I replied.  Then Caden ran up to the door and put his ear up to it.
"Caden!! What are you DOING!!!" I whisper-shouted, not wanting him to get in trouble.
"Something about us...  They said new arrivals." He whispered, not answering my question.  I gave in and walked over beside him.
"There's three in the isolation room, and one mis-behaving in class... We've got a bit of trouble on our hands.  It'll be hard to find someone that'll take even one of these kids." I heard someone mutter.
"That, is definitely us." I thought.
"Send us to?" Caden asked curiously.
"Well, this is fishy." I replied.
"She seriously said something about her having mental issues?" One of them asked, then laughed a little. Kyle wasn't kidding. It was Allena who had gotten in trouble in the girls classroom.
"Did they just... Did they really... Oh my god." Caden muttered. I looked at him, and through the light that was coming from the hall, I could tell that he was peeved. I was too, to be honest.
"Let's take this conversation to the conference room, two of those kids are right behind that door." A man said, then we heard foot steps. Caden walked to the small desk that was in our room, grabbed a pencil, walked back to the door, and started picking the lock.
"Caden, have. You. Gone. MAD?! " I asked, putting emphasis on each word.
"I've gotta see what those guys were talking about!!  Where on earth could they be sending us?" Caden cried quietly, still trying to pick the lock.
"Yeah, like a PENCIL is gonna work." I thought sarcastically. Finally, CAden got the door unlocked.  I raised an eyebrow at him in shock.  I thought this stuff only worked in books and movies, but I was wrong.
"How did you..." I began to ask.  Caden just shrugged.
"I don't know.  I just tried to mimic the way a key would work, honestly." He replied flatly.  I opened the door and peeked my head out, seeing if anyone was out and watching.  As far as I could see, the hall was empty.
"All clear." I whispered to Caden.  We walked out in the direction we heard the two men go. We were walking for two whole minutes, and I couldn't hear anything.
"Caden, are you sure we should be doing this? We could just get ourselves lost, then get into a whole pile of trouble." I asked him, a little worried to be honest. I don't normally get nervous about things like this, but in all honesty, the people are creepy.
"I'm not letting this slide Tyler. What did thy mean by 'sending us off'? We can't get separated. This whole thing seems a little off to me..." Caden replied. I saw three more people cross in front of us. Two men and a woman.
"Look out!" I whisper shouted as I pushed Caden onto the wall so we wouldn't get caught.
"Ow!" He cried silently.  I glared at him to tell him to shut up, and he glared back annoyed. I tried to listen in on the conversation that the three adults were having, and they said something about the conference room.
"Follow me." I told Caden, taking charge. I was shocked at myself, I don't usually become the leader of these things.  That's Kyle... But he's in the isolation room.... Maybe that's why I'm acting like this...
"They went into that room." Caden stated, pointing to a room just a little down the hall.
"Should we-" I started to ask.
"Yes. Something isn't right here." Caden said, cutting me off. I followed him to close to the door. If only I could just, peek in or something. I suppose it doesn't matter right now, we could hear them loud and clear.
"Yes. Yes we're sure its them. Positive. I watched them both flip their ears down the moment we found them. When are you coming to get them?" We could hear a man ask, obviously on a phone.
"There talking about Fawn and Scarlett!" I whisper yelled, hoping only Caden heard me.
"What if it's the-" Caden began to ask nervously, but was cut off by the man on the phone talking again.
"Yes, Sargent. Collins. No problem. I'll be glad you can get rid of them for us, they've been causing a lot of trouble. I had no hope for them from the start. Who would want half breeds as workers?" The man asked. Oh, this isn't good... I thought. I can't even imagine if Kyle was here, he'd be going nuts.
"Oh no... We have to warn them!" Caden exclaimed.
"Wait a moment, if they're planning to- well, get Fawn and Scarlett killed, what are they planning to do to us?" I asked nervously. I didn't really like saying the word killed that much. It just didn't sound right.
"... Good question..." Caden contemplated. All of a sudden, we could hear the man talking to another woman, who must have been in the room already.
"I can't believe we had to split those ignorant kids up between 5 different people who needed workers. I mean, they are pretty stupid. So, it makes sense." The woman laughed. What? I thought nervously.
"Yeah, I'm glad the places are as horrible as they sound. Should teach those kids a lesson. Working all day, no time to talk to each other. Heck, the people in charge seem even worse then us! Not that we're bad..." The man added, slyly.
"Oh, you're bad alright!" I thought.
"Yeah, no kidding. One of them got sent down to the isolation room today-" The woman began.
"Yep, that would be Kyle." Caden whispered flatly.
"- And one of those half-breeds caused even more trouble in her class today, sticking up for some girl how could hardly even do basic math." She finished. Caden looked ready to burst in there and yell at them at this remark.
"They're dead. So. Dead..." He muttered angrily, pushing the door open slightly.
"Caden, don't. I know you're peeved, and so am I, but we're both gonna get in a lot of trouble if you open that door." I told him. He hesitated, then backed away.
"Why would they say that about Allena though? The next time I see her, I'm going to ask her about this, then probably hug her." Caden muttered.
"Cute." I smirked. Personally, I thought that they would be cute together.
"So, when are these kids getting sent off?" The man asked.
"We're hoping in a week. Those kids are in for it now..." The woman replied. I looked at Caden, shocked, and he looked at me.
"Uh-oh." We both said at the same time.
"We can't let this happen." He added.
"Look, let's just go back to our room, and plan this out then." I replied. Then we ran as fast as we could-without making a ton of noise- and came up with a plan.
By the next day after our classes, it was ready to launch into action.

Mika's POV:

The past two school days have been. Awful. I've met some pretty crappy teachers in my life, but never any as bad as mine. As I got back to my dormitory later than usual today, my brain was dead. I probably now know what the zombie's feel like. Speaking of which, the only GOOD thing about this place, is not having to worry about zombies, zombie attacks, or getting bit by a zombie.
"Hey Mika, you're back late." Nani said tiredly as I opened the door. It was unlocked from the outside, but not the inside. So if we shut it, we were locked in.
"I know. My teacher had us all stay in class late to give us a dumb lecture because we were talking in class, then gave us even more work." I replied as I layed down on my bed.
"Ouch." Venus exclaimed.
"He kept you in class... For two hours longer???" Allena asked shocked. I nodded my head in reply.
"Hopefully they let us out of this dumb place soon." I sighed. Maybe then I could see Scarlett again. I really missed her. We weren't in the same class, because she would've been in kindergarten if she had went to school before.
'I don't know how could of a thing that would be either." Venus muttered. I sat up.
"What do you mean?" I asked confused.
"I remember when they first put us in here, they said something about us all getting 'adopted' or 'fostered' or some crap like that, so we would have an adult around to take care of us so we can still mature and help the world get back to normal." She explained, sounding like she was trying to mock whoever said that in the first place.
"Would we get split up?" I asked, looking at Nani. I didn't want to get split up from her, I'd be all alone... She looked at me and gave me a sad smile.
"I doubt it kid." Venus answered sadly. Allena looked a bit nervous all of the sudden.
"What's wrong Allena?" Nani asked her.
"Well... The last time I was put in a foster home... I was there for 6 months. The people who worked there couldn't find anyone who wanted me, because I was different, and I'd need a lot more help in school than most kids. What if the same thing happens again, and I'm stuck here?" She asked nervously.
"That wouldn't happen.  And eventually, you did find a family that wanted you, right?" Venus asked.
"I suppose you're right.  But wouldn't someone want a kid who is really smart and clever and actually has a chance of SURVIVING this whole apocalypse?" Allena replied sadly.
"Woah woah woah.  Hold up. You're going to survive.  We all are.  Wether out whole group is together or not.  And if we do end up going to different survival groups, there will be someone who wants you." Nani told her.
"Yeah! You're quite smart, and you're really nice!" I added.
"Thanks guys." Allena said smiling.
"Well, now that we've got that cleared up, we may as well do some homework." Venus sighed.
"Yeah. Mr.Stevens is still going hard on me, so I'm gonna need the extra hour or so." Allena added.
"Seriously? After that whole fight the other day, she still has to do advanced stuff, wow." I thought annoyed.  I was hating this place more and more. Hopefully we can all break out of here soon...
