Jily Story

This is a story I cam up with in the shower and sat in the shower and wrote it... just some back ground info for you .. (:

James Potter sat in his four poster listening to his three best friends sleeping. He couldn't sleep, his mind was wandering to his fellow Gryffindor, Lily Evans. She was beautiful and amazingly smart, especially because she was muggle-born... which meant nothing to James.

James couldn't take his mind off of her. He had a sudden urge to look at the Marauders Map.

"Lumos" he mumbled. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" He looked at the girl dormitory he saw Lily's name he starred at it for what felt like hours till finally something happened. Lily moved to the other side of her dormitory. Then she left her dormitory, sitting up James watching as Lily went through the common room, then moved toward the portrait hole which was the only way to get into the Gryffindor common room.

Jame got out of his bed carful not to wake anyone up but still rushing. He slipped on his invisibility cloak and some shoes. He left his dormitory, went through the common room and left through the portrait hole careful to watch Lily everywhere she went.

Finally Jame caught up with Lily and didn't have to use the map anymore. He followed her wondering where she was going. He kept his distance just in case.

Finally Lily stopped. James hadn't even noticed where they were, he was too focused on Lily. Lily had stopped in front of a painting, when James heard something behind him turning around he saw nothing. He watched for a minute or so then turned back around and Lily was gone.

James confused started to walk to the spot where Lily was he kept turning on the spot and pacing back and forth. Finally, a half hour later, tired James sat down opposite of where Lily disappeared. James's head fell to the side and he fell asleep.

About fifteen minutes later James woke up due to someone dropping soothing swearing very loudly. James stood up when he realized it was Lily holding food.

James kept a little closer to Lily this time. They finally reached the steps leading to the tower where the Gryffindor house was located. James accidentally missed at step.

"bloody hell" James yelled falling on his butt. Lily let out a loud scream and the invisibility cloak fell off of James.

James stood up trying to pull the invisibility cloak back over his but it was too late, Lily had already seen who it was. James could hear someone running down the corridor.

"James Potter you complete arse! what were you"

"Evans be quiet!" James said running up to her and putting his hand over her mouth and throwing the invisibility cloak over them. She kept trying to talk but James kept his hand over her mouth and moved her closer to him. "someone is coming" he whispered " probably Mcgonagall she has watch tonight"

A few seconds later Mcgonagall showed up and rushed up the stairs then back down a few minutes later, mumbling as she went. They waited for about five minutes then James removed this hand from Lily's face.

"James Potter" Lily whispered " you complete git what were you doing? why are you out of bed? "

"I should be asking you the same thing Evans."

" I was hungry and wanted a snack. Now what are you doing."

"I uhh you passed me in the common room and I wanted to see what you were doing."

"no one was in the common room I checked" she whispered.

" yeah well I was, must of missed me" James replied suddenly realizing how close they were. There bodies were pressed against each other .

"we should probably get back" Lily replied.

"yeah, but your staying under here just in case." James stated.

"Whatever Potter"

"Okay, Evans"

Idk how I feel about this one it was gonna be sad but then I changed it about half way through.
