tonks jokingly calling remus every pet name in the book until he starts doing it back just to amuse her and they keep getting more ridiculous and wolf related until they get so use to it one day tonks accidentally calls remus 'her tough alpha babe' in front of others and for like a month straight neither of them could look the weasleys in the face

tonks very gently and quietly bandaging and healing remus's cuts and bruises the day after the full moon
remus giving a tiny smirk and happily giving tonks piggyback rides and carrying her bridal style whenever she accidentally and inevitably hurts herself tripping over one thing or another
tonks secretly loving remus's grandpa style of clothing and going to mrs. weasley to try to learn how to knit cardigans and sweaters herself and fails terribly but remus wears whatever the outcome is with pride anyway
remus and tonks being totally badass and unstoppable in the missions they were sent on for the order and everyone secretly thinking they should hook up and rejoicing when they announced their marriage

Remus using "Nymphadora" when he and Tonks have an argument or just to annoy her and hear that adorable "don't you fucking call me Nymphadora, you know how much I hate this name."

What really gets me about Remus and Tonks is that Tonks likely went through her entire life with people treating her being a Metamorphmagus as a novelty, with people constantly asking her "Make your hair blue!" "Can you make yourself look like 'x'?" "Are those your real breasts?" and I can imagine her being very lonely during her teenage years, despite her outgoing personality. And then along comes Remus, who also knows what it's like to be treated differently than anyone else, and accepts Tonks for who she is. He doesn't question when she has a pink pixie one day and a blue bob the next, and just smiles brightly and tells her that, no matter what, she'll always look beautiful to him.
