I was so distracted. I mean, most girls would be thrilled to be dancing with Trey, but all I could think about was Harry. The way he kissed me was just mesmerising. I could still feel his hands sliding down my waste as he held me close. And yet every time Trey would even accidentally bump into me whilst dancing, I would totally freak out and search for Harry. But he was nowhere to be seen. And so I did the only thing I could do, I continued dancing. Slowly, Trey started moving towards me, obviously trying to instigate something. As he came closer I could smell the stench of alcohol on him. When he opened his mouth, it became even worse.

“You look really hot tonight” He told me above the loud music. I glanced at him before I once again looked around for Harry. Trey continued to talk, “You know I’m not scared of him” He told me. This really got my attention. I looked at Trey in confusion.

“Who?” I asked.

“Harry. He thinks he’s all macho and all. But I’m not scared of him. He just thinks he knows you, but I know all you just want is a good time and don’t worry baby, I’ll give you that. No strings attached. Just one night and that’s it” He told me. I stared at him in shock. Not just because of what he was asking of me, but also because what he said reminded me so much of Harry’s warning to be careful. It was as if he had known somehow, like he knew this would happen.

“Did Harry talk to you?” I asked, taking a wild stab in the dark.

“Yeah, the loser threatened me. Said he would bash my face in if I used you. He thinks he knows what you want, but the loser has no idea of the good time I’ll give ya” He replied, his every word angering me.

“When did he talk to you?” I asked quickly.

“I don’t know. Like the start of the night, maybe ten minutes after you came to the party.” He replied. I stared at him in utter disbelief. Harry had known all along that it was Trey I wanted to get with yet he still continued to taunt me about it all night. He had officially driven me over the edge. He didn’t even have to be talking to me and he still managed to irritate me somehow. In anger, I hastily moved away from Trey and started to walk away. I reached the front door and without any further ado, I quickly left the house. I didn’t know how I was going to get home, or where to go for that matter, all I knew was that I had to get away from Trey and most of all from Harry. I got to the end of the driveway and looked right and left, before randomly choosing to turn right. Tonight was going to be a long night.
