I woke up to the door bell ringing. I tried to roll around to see the time but was stopped by the muscular arm holding me down. I turned over and saw Harry sleeping half on me. I started to smile as I reminisced on last night.
Slowly, I started to shake Harry to get him to wake up and get the door.
"Haz, baby, wake up, there's someone at the door". I told him. Harry groaned but didn't move. I continued to try to wake him up, which didn't work at all.
Slowly, he muttered "Lou will get it". His voice was so deep and husky, it was the biggest turn on. Figuring that he was probably right, I shrugged and then moved in closer to him so that we were snuggling. Harry lifted his arm up and pulled me closer towards me. He opened his eyes slightly and then kissed me on the nose. I giggled.
Suddenly, the door bell rang again. Clearly Lou had not gotten the door.
Harry took his arm off me and punched his pillow in frustration.
"Grrr who the hell is that?" He asked to himself. Slowly, he got up and out of bed, much to my disapproval. I watched him as he put on some pyjama pants. He started to drag himself to the front door.
I waited silently in his room, waiting to hear him greet the mysterious person at the door.
I heard Harry at the door, "mum what are you doing?"
Suddenly, I could here Anne screaming back at Harry, "you fucking killed someone? This better not be true and you better have a good explanation young man".
Harry replied, "Ofcourse I didnt kill anyone, it's all a misunderstanding. Can I go back to bed now?"
"Like hell you can go to bed, sit the hell down!" Anne screamt furiously.
I waited for Harry to reply and when he didn't, I decided to get out of bed and greet Anne myself. I put on some of Harry's clothes lying around and walked into the lounge room, where I saw Harry sitting on the couch with his face in his hands and Anne sitting accross him.
Anne noticed me walk in and a flash of confusion came on her face. She looked at Harry, and then back at me, and then back at Harry. Harry's face was still in his hands, obviously indicating that he didn't want to talk to anyone.
Anne tried to speak, "Did you, I mean, are you guys - ?"
I tried to reply but was lost for words. Luckily for me, Harry saved the day. He didn't lift up his head but he still managed to spit out, "Just leave her alone mum, she's got nothing to do with anything".
I looked at Harry in surprise, "Harry..." I muttered.
He finally looked up at me, his hands rumaging through his hair, something he only did when he was stressed.
Once again he repeated, "You've got nothing to do with anthing". He said it so bluntly, and from this I knew that this was a matter that we weren't going to discuss right now. I shrugged and then walked into the kitchen as Anne starting asking Harry questions. I could hear him muttering responses.
I looked on the kitchen table and saw a note from Lou.
Haz and Taz, gone to doctors with El. Don't worry we're fine, will tell you tonight. DON"T leave the house. Lou xx
I stared at the note, what was wrong with Lou or El? And what was so bad that they had to go to the doctors at this early hour. Normally, they wouldnt get up till 11 am at the earliest. And it was now around 8 am. I fidgeted with the note before I put it down, just praying that they are okay.
