Ella put the photo album back on the shelf and walked over to the desk lay on top of it was a picture she picked it up and started smiling it was a drawing of her and Ethan that Ethan had drawn for her Ella started to feel sad that she couldn't be near Ethan anymore she closed her eyes unknown to her objects in her room started to float in mid-air as she opened her eyes she could see the desk was trying to move she was making it move but she couldn't stop she tried to focus on the food tray her mum had. Brought in thinking she should eat something, but she only made the food break into tiny pieces then she felt tears streaming down her face she did not want to be alone anymore, but she could not control her power and it was to dangers for people to be near her even Ethan or Anna. Ella took a seat at the desk the objects had stopped moving her powers had calmed down but she still wanted to cry she placed her head on the desk just as her forehead hit the hard cold wood she heard a very quiet knock followed but a calm voice "Ella how are you today?" the sound of her sisters voice made her smile "hi Anna yeah I feel ok" "I wish you could come out of there Ella it's lonely without you I miss you" "I miss you to Anna" "I running out of things to say Ethan he keeps asking about you and I don't know what to tell him anymore I know it's for the best for all of us but he misses you-you were his only real friend" "you tell him I miss him too" Ella's voice started to break as she spoke "Ella are you crying?" "I'm trying not too" "Ella you'll be ok just stay calm" "I'm trying Anna" Ella looked around things in her room were moving again "Anna get away from the door I can't calm my powers down and I don't want to hurt you" "I'm not leaving you like this Ella please" Ella opened her eyes and looked toward the door it was shaking Ella tried to hold her power in but it was no use when her powers got like this it was like putting a mint in a bottle of coke unstoppable Ella closed her eyes again then she heard it Anna screaming in pain Ella opened her eyes to see the door smashed clean out of its frame and Anna lying under the solid wood that once stood strong Ella ran to her sisters side pushed the door off her and rested her weak body on her leg "Anna Anna I'm so sorry Anna I didn't mean to hurt you oh god Anna I'm so sorry" Ella lowered her head to bury her face in her sister jet black hair as she started to cry she heard footsteps coming up the stairs "Ella what have you done?" "mum it was an accident I didn't mean to I tried to hold my powers back but I couldn't" Ella could feel tears running down her face as she closed her eyes she felt a hand around hers the hand tightened Ella looked down to see anna's face " it wasn't your fault Ella I know you would never hurt me" "no Anna I'd never set out to hurt you ever" Sophie took Anna and helped her to her room a few bruises nothing serious Ella returned to her room her eye locked on the empty frame that was once her door her eye caught all the chains and locks were her own family that scared of her Ella lay on her bed trying not to think of anything she pushed her head deeper into the pillow trying to force herself to go to sleep as she closed her eyes she heard her dad's voice came from the downstairs hallway he wasn't talking to her but about her she could hear most of what he was saying "she getting to strong nothing is going to stop her we need to deal with this now we can't hid this any longer" Ella didn't know what her dad really meant by deal with it but she could tell by his tone it wasn't good
The night passed on but Ella couldn't stop thinking about what her dad had said there was only one thing she could think of that would help her family and that was to run away that was the only way so she grabbed a backpack from under her bed and placed into it her photo album some books pictures that Ethan had drew her and some of her art pencils colours and a new sketch pad then she crept downstairs and filled the rest of the backpack with food and quietly left the house and her life of isolation
Ella had not been outside in so long she had forgotten how it felt to have the wind blow through her long brown hair she smiled to herself and fastened her coat and set off walking she did not know where she was going, she just knew she had to get away from the family.
