Ella felt so at home here with the girls but she just could not wait for them to all fall asleep so she could go and find Ethan to make sure he was ok and safe. Half an hour pasted before Ella was sure that the girls were asleep so she quietly put her jeans on and covered her pj top with a hoodie and slid on her pumps and tip toed out of the room this time not even Toby woke up a few minutes later Ella found herself walking at the side of the garden wall whispering Ethan's name over and over again just as her heart sank with the worry that Ethan was never coming here again she heard him whisper her name suddenly her heart was filled with so much joy Ethan was here he was still her friend and more importantly he was ok Ethan reached out and pulled Ella into a hug "I'm so glad you are ok Ethan when I saw you as we did that spell i was so scared that we hurt you" Ethan pulled back from the hug "I'm fine Ella promise i mean I'm not gonna lie see what you and your friends can do scared the hell out of me but I'm ok i know that you never would mean to hurt me" "never i wouldn't be able to live with myself if i let my powers hurt you" Ethan smiled at Ella "but i am curious what else can your powers do apart from starting and stopping forest fires" Ella took one step back from Ethan and lay her hands flat in front of herself and focused on the ground and the power of nature as she closed her eyes she felt the power of the earth flow through her from the tips of her fingers and back into the ground as she opened her eyes she saw wonder and amazement on Ethan's face so she a made a red Roses grow in front of her feet "wow Ella that's amazing why would you be scared of this it's brilliant" "it's not all good Ethan before i came here before i used my bonding power with the girls with my coven i couldn't control it i could easily hurt someone destroy something with my mind you saw me nearly hurt someone once" Ethan looked at Ella in confusion "you remember the first day we meet" Ethan nodded "well when those boys were picking on you and I pushed one of them back and he pretty much crashed into the lockers" "yeah you told me you took karate lessons" "i lied to you i saw them hurting you and i was filled with so much anger and rage that i pushed my powers into my hands and used it to push him away from you" "you used your powers to help me?" Ella nodded "wow Ella i can now see why you were scared of your powers but don't you see that even when you couldn't control them you still used them to help you and your powers are amazing" Ella smiled and hugged Ethan "thank you" "for what" "being my friend Ethan I don't know what I'd do if you weren't in my life even when mum and dad locked me away just seeing you when u walked down the driveway made me feel that i still had my best friend and today i was so scared that after what you saw that you wouldn't of come here tonight" "Ella you are the only real friend I've ever had you can't get rid of me that easily" "I hope not" Ella and Ethan sat in the gardens for 2 hours talking before Ella tiptoed back to her dorm.
The next morning at breakfast Caroline informed the girls that Clair wished to see them before lessons the girls started to worry why Clair wanted to see them was it because of what had happened when they trained alone. The girls gathered outside Clair's office door Rosie knocked on "enter" Rosie looked back at the girls and after they all took a deep breath they opened the door and walked down the large room as they reached the desk Emily took charge "you wished to see us Clair" "yes girls I did i wished to tell you that we have planned a family day for you all as our youngest witches we have sorted out a day where your families can come and see what you have learned and how you have bonded as a coven" the girls were so happy with this new apart from Ella she knew that Claire hadn't contacted her family a small part of Ella's heart missed her mum dad and sister even after keeping her locked up for all that time they were her family she did still love and miss them but the girls were happy and she wouldn't spoil this treat for them she wanted them to be happy.
Lessons that day where separate so all the girls were with the rest of their talent groups but Ella being the only binding power, they had had her lesson today with Clair. Today's lesson was on forming a protection field for this Clair had asked Ella to bring little Toby to lesson to teach Ella to form the protection field Clair told her to focus all her power on Toby and on keeping him safe as Ella tried this Clair attempted to make Toby float. Toby's paws lifted slightly, and Ella focus her energy on lower them back down and slowly they did Ella had done it Clair's power could not break the field that Ella's had formed to protect Toby Clair smiled and clapped her hands "well done Ella you should be so proud of yourself" Ella smiled and picked Toby up he greeted her affection by licking her hands "Clair how big could I make one of these protection fields?" "any size the fields are formed by your emotions so if you were protecting someone or something you really cared or loved then there's no telling how big or how strong you could make a protection field" Ella nodded "well I think that's enough for today you run alone I'm sure the girls will finish their lessons soon" Ella nodded again as she reached the door she turned "Clair, thank you so much for letting me stay here and for teaching me about my powers I don't know what I would of done if I hadn't found you all" "my dear Ella you did find us and as your which family we will always be here for you no matter what" Ella smiled and set off back to her dorm.
