The next night that Ethan was due to meet her in the gardens Ella was there before him, so she sat on the ground by one of the trees she started to think of the happiness and love the girls and their families had showed her she wished her family were the same, but they were not only Ethan was "Ella" Ethan walked through the grass towards her and sat next to her. Ella told Ethan all about family day when she finished a small silence fell between them after a few seconds Ella looked up at Ethan "Ethan how's is Anna? And my mum and dad?" before he answered her, he placed his arm around her shoulder "your mum and dad are frantic looking for you. And Anna well she spends most of her day sitting in your room she thinks it's because of her that you ran away." Ella hung her head trying not to cry Ethan tighten his arm around her pulling her into a one-armed hug "regardless of what they did to me locking me away I still miss them, more Anna than mum and dad while the girls had their families here all I wanted was to hug my sister be with my twin again" "ok then" "what?" "well, i sneak here every week to see you so why not bring Anna next week" "you can't she'll tell mum and dad where I am, I'll be dragged back home and locked away" "Ella she's your sister I won't even tell her where we are going till, she sees you then if you ask her, she won't tell you mum and dad I know she wouldn't" Ella and Ethan said goodbye.
as Ella left Ethan sat in the garden he lingered for a while he watched her walk inside and then he slowly turned to walk out of the garden those past few weeks after he had found Ella again every time he was on his way to see her or leaving her again he got a hollow feeling in his stomach the closer he got to her the more it went away the further they were apart the deeper that feeling became Ethan didn't know why this kept happening all he know was having Ella in his life made everything better and he knew that bringing Anna here to her sister would make all three of them very happy.
the girls continued their lessons both together and apart of the next week but one night Ella had a sinking feeling in her heart as she slept, she opened her eyes and looked at the girls asleep in their beds Emily was tossing and turning and gathering her covers in her hands Ella climbed out of her bed and walked to Emily's. Ella placed her hand lightly on Emily's shoulder through their bond Ella could see what Emily was dreaming of it was the battle that they had all envisioned was to come only it seemed to be later on that the girls had first seen Ella saw through Emily's eyes the witches their fellow sisters fighting the humans all elements at their command suddenly Ella felt as if she was been pulled back only it wasn't her it was Emily the humans had reached the top of the hill where the coven stood one reached out pulling Emily from the group Ella saw the other girls get further out of view then she was pulled back to reality Emily had woken up Ella pulled her into a hug "Ella if what we dream of really comes to pass how are we going to survive it?" "we'll survive by working together like we always do I promise" Emily held Ella's hands in her and without asking Ella knew Emily did not want her to return to her own bed so she lay down next to Emily and they both feel into a peaceful sleep.
the next morning Ella and Emily told the girls of Emily's dream the more they learned of the battle that was to come the more prepared they hoped they be however the more they learnt the more they saw the people the cared for being hurt and killed and that scared them how where they a small group of teenagers going to protect an entire collection of witches and why was this battle going to happen why were the humans going to attack them. these questions kept running through Ella's mind over and over again in her lesson with Claire she had completely zoned out so she didn't even hear Claire "ELLA ELLA" "sorry Claire what were you saying" "what is wrong with you today you're miles away" "I'm sorry Claire it's just the vision we all saw of the battle that is to come we keep dreaming about it and we don't know how we are going to protect any of us from what we see the humans will reach us on the hilltop and separate us from each other" "Ella they humans wouldn't know to do that they don't know that you are stronger together so how would they know to split you all up" Ella's heart sank maybe not all humans knew that a full coven was stronger together but Ethan did he knew because Ella had told him. Ella pushed the thought from her head no Ethan was still her friend even after her leaving him and the girls almost killing him, he was still her friend Ethan would never betray her.
