Asgardian Prince

Chapter Six.

Its been a few days since I first went to the hospital. Steve was discharged yesterday but Kelly is still there. The doctor said she hit her head real hard against some metal and she needed to let her body rest, the comma being the result.

Steve had went to the motel Bucky was staying at a few hours after I picked him up from the hospital and they talked for a few hours before he came back home. I got Bucky a new cell phone that's untraceable from the help of one of my friends. We talked every few hours, he would get a memory and ask me to ask Steve about it.

Thor and I visit Kelly everyday at lunch time and watch different movies with her, trying to wake her up. She has been doing better the docs say but I'm just praying she's not in pain.

Thor has been getting a lot of 'calls' from Asguard, apparently they are having this huge celebration they have every year and its coming up soon, meaning he needs to go back for a month or so. I was kind of against him leaving while my best friend is in the ICU. I needed him with me while this goes on.

"You sure you have to leave?" I asked him as we laid in my bed.

"I am afraid I must go." He sighed into my hair, pressing kiss to the top of my head.

"I cant do this alone. I need you here." I whispered, knowing its a lost cause to continue asking.

To my surprise he didn't respond right away, rather he laid there thinking. When he did finally answer I wasn't prepared. "Why don't you come up with me, see my home." I froze, his answer startling me slightly. "That way we are together and you can meet my family and friends."

"Uhh, I know this sounds stupid, and like I'm a child, but can I go talk to Steve about it?" I played with the charmed blue orb around my neck.

"Absolutely." He released his hold on my waist and let me crawl out of the bed. I walked out of the room and down the hall to Steve's. The wood door was cracked open but I knocked just in case.

"Steve?" I called into the silent room.

"Jordan? I'm in the bathroom." Steve's voice drifted through the open bathroom door. He was standing in front of the mirror, his shirt off, and tending to the cuts and bruises that still existed. "What's up?"

"Thor invited me to Asguard." I said bluntly. The wrapping he had in his hand dropped into the sink.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah. I don't want him gone while Kelly's still hurt so he said he could take me and introduce me to his family. Should I go?"

"I don't see why not. Just promise you'll wear that gem thing everyday." He spoke how my dad would, all protective.

"I promise. Keep an eye on Kelly for me? I'll go over there now to say but, and Ill be back in a week or so to check in." I said as he pulled on his shirt.

"Alright. You'll have fun, don't think about the bad stuff, just think. You're going to a new world no one has ever seen." He smiled and pulled me in for a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around his waist and put my head on his chest, missing the days when we were inseparable.

"We'll do something when I come back, dinner maybe. We could even bring Buck." I said as I stepped away.

"I'm sure he'd love that." He smiled and waved as I walked out of his room and back down to mine.

"I'm going to go say good bye to Kell and Bucky ok?" I said and grabbed my bag. He nodded and sat up. "I'm going to go alone and be back in the next hour or so." I walked out of my room and down the stairs, picking up Steve's bike keys on the way. His helmet was resting on the seat and I stuffed my hair into it before starting the bike and taking off towards the hospital.
