*Time Skip To Christmas Break*

Aphmau's POV

Everything has been crazy lately, we just started christmas break which means the year's nearly half over. I've been quite embarrassed to talk to Laurance after that incident a few weeks back. I've been so busy with school work too, but now that it's a break I get some time to myself. And to hang with friends, of course. Right now I'm sitting on my couch after a long day of school, I love the feeling of being free after school. I sigh at the thought, then I get a message that made me smile:

Alexis: Hey Aphmau! I just thought I'd ask if you want to come on a camping trip with some people from school. 

Aphmau: Yea! That sounds like fun, isn't it really cold out though?

Alexis: Well, it is but... we sort of found 3 days that will be quite nice weather for the winter!

Aphmau: Wow! That's awesome! But, who else is coming?

Alexis: So far I know Lucinda, Kiki, Travis, Nicole, Fenrir, and Laurance. 

Aphmau: Sounds good, will anyone else be attending?

Alexis: Most likely, I still need to tell a few more people. 

Aphmau: I'll leave you to do that.

Alexis: Okay, bye!

Aphmau: Wait.

Alexis: Yea?

Aphmau: What day is it?

Alexis: 2 days from now, so I guess on Sunday.

Aphmau: Sounds perfect. 

Alexis: See you!

Aphmau: Bye!

I'm really looking forward to this camping trip, I know it's going to be cold so I better pack some warm clothes. I have nothing to do but await this day, it's going to be a great day for sure. I stop squealing for a moment and look for something to watch. I find this anime called Kaichou wa Maid-sama,  the title caught my eye so I started watching it. I got through the first episode and it was a little weird, once I was through the the second... I was hooked. I started watching all the episodes and giggling at the funny parts, wow.. this is AMAZING! Some parts in it are really weird.. especially when the guy says creepy things. Those parts make me feel awkward but I'm alone so I sit through it. I got to episode 7 to realize it was 7:20. I've been watching this for longer than I  thought. 

Laurance's POV

I think Aphmau is mad at me or something, she is barely talking to me and her face turns red every time I acknowledge her. Did I do something I shouldn't have? I don't think I did anything, did I though? Whatever, I am quite excited about this camping trip. I hope Aphmau's going, then she'll have to explain why she's ignoring me. Does she hate me? No, she can't. I continue to contemplate in my head about my odd thoughts, I should go visit her. Would that be weird? Nah, it's not like she barely knows me. I pack up a few things in my bag, that includes stuff I would need if I were to sleep over. Is that creepy? I need to stop asking myself these questions and get a move on. I head out the door and hop into my car, I drive to Aphmau's house and knock on her door.

She opens the door and her face flushes pink like everytime she sees me now of days. "Hey Aphmau." I say giving her a smile. "H-hey Laurance." she stutters and looks down. What is wrong with her? "Aphmau? Are you okay?" I asked stepping closer to her. She moved back slightly and said, "D-don't worry, I'm okay." "Are you sure?" I asked. "Y-yea, I'm fine." she was still looking down. I walked in and grabbed her arm, dragging her over to the couch with me. "L-Laurance!" she said as I pulled her, we sat down. "Aphmau..." I started. "Laurance?" she questioned. "W-why have you been ignoring me?" I finally got out, her face tinted that pink but slightly darker. "I-I was just sort of embarrassed at what happened that few weeks ago." she said. I then remembered and it all made sense. "Oh, I understand now." I said with a slight chuckle. I looked at her and she looked at me, her blush stayed but she smiled. I smiled back. 

We stared at eachother for awhile until we were so close I could feel her breath and there was no doubt she couldn't feel mine. I assumed we were going to kiss but she spoke, "So, I hear you're going on that camping trip." "Heh, yup. Are you?" I asked. "Yea, why wouldn't I? Yea, it might be cold but it's a chance to hang out with my friends so it's nice." she said leaning away from me and laying her back on the couch. I smirked at her, she's adorable. I sat up and stood in front of her, I smirked and she blushed more. I leaned over so my face was close to hers, she closed her eyes and I pressed my lips gently against hers. She returned the kiss and wrapped her arms around my neck pulling me closer to her. I smiled while we kissed, as did she. We made out on the couch until I was completely on top of her. At one point she stopped kissing me and sat up, she hugged her knees to her chest and looked down embarrassed. "Aphmau?" I questioned. "S-sorry." she said, still having her head down.            "W-what? you don't need to be sorry for anything." I replied. "M-maybe you should go." she said near tears. "A-Aphmau-- okay." I said standing up and grabbing my bag. "Bye." I said closing the door as she hugged her knees still. I sighed and drove back home, I hope she'll be okay. 

Aphmau's POV

I feel really bad for making Laurance leave, not that I didn't like kissing him.. It's just that is the exact same way I almost became pregnant. I don't want that fear ever coming to me again, I'm just.. scared. I pull my knees from my chest and am relieved to see I haven't cried, I'm shocked at the way Laurance reacted. If I did something like that with my EX he'd probably get mad and hit me or something, he's the only person I can't defend myself from. It's mostly because I don't want to hurt him, nevermind. All of that is in the past, time for everything new. Hopefully. I clean up what I used to make dinner and put it away, as I'm doing so I get a glimpse at the clock to see that Laurance had been here for 45 min. Wow, we made out for that long?! I smile at the thought, he's so nice. He would never make me do anything I didn't want to... like 'him' I shake my head to rid that horrible person from my mind. Approvingly I allow a smile across my face, to all my friends. I get ready for sleep like any other day. Only this time, I text someone before I fall asleep:

Aphmau: Hey. I'm sorry, I probably got your hopes up.

Laurance: Like I said, you have nothing to be sorry for.

Aphmau: I still feel really bad.

Laurance: Why do you feel bad?

Aphmau: If that happened with my EX... I'd be bruised. 

Laurance: My Irene, please don't think of the past Aphmau. Especially a past like that! You have the future and many good friends to guide you through it.

Aphmau: Thanks Laurance, you always know what to say. 

Laurance: Glad I could help, you should sleep.

Aphmau: I will, bye.

Laurance: Sleep well, my love.

I fell asleep fast, I was smiling the entire time. It used to annoy me when he called me that, now I honestly find it cute and unique. I was only ever 'Aphmau' 'Aph' 'Toy' 'Girl' to every other boy I met. I know that won't happen again, I'm too smart to be so stupid. I fell asleep in these happy thoughts. I hope Laurance is doing the same.
