Chapter 9

Aphmau's POV

I wake up and stretch my arms out, I turn off my alarm and stand up. One more day and it's Friday, I just have to push through. I walk to my bathroom and go into the shower, I am having shower thoughts that consist of: There's someone behind me! *turns and looks* No one's there. I get out of the shower and brush my teeth and hair. I do my makeup and walk out of the bathroom and into my closet, I feel like today will go by in a flash. I pick a cute outfit and hop down the stairs, I am going to run late if I don't just grab something quick. I grab a mango and run out the door. The second I'm outside I bolt down the street, as I'm running I run into someone and knock them over. I look at them and realize it's Mikai, "Oh, I'm sorry Mikai!" I put my hand out and help him up. "Really, it's not a problem." He says taking my hand as I help him up. "I have volleyball so I have gotta run!" I continued bolting down the street, and I made my way to school in record time. I got there and put my bag in the locker room, I changed into uniform and walked onto the court with Kiki by my side.

As we walked onto the court each team had 6 players, My team was Kiki, Marsh, Travis, me and two other people I don't know. The other team had 6 more people we don't know, We practiced volleyball by playing it. Soon after we just started practicing without it being a competition. Since we had vollyball we would miss half of the first period, soon practice ended and I headed to the locker room and changed back into my normal clothes. I headed out and to my class. It was really awkward walking in the class like that, I took a seat next to Nicole. We talked and got yelled at a few times, we sat through the rest of the classes that lead up to lunch. Turns out we had a test that I didn't know about until now, I find it annoying that the teacher is making me do this test when I didn't even know it was coming. I studied for the test outside during lunch.

I review the things up against a tree, as I'm studying I hear someone walk up to me. I don't think much of it until they sit down next to me. I look over only to see the one and only Dante. "What do you want now?" I asked him looking back at my book. "I want revenge.." he said carelessly. "And how do you plan on doing that?" I asked him with a snicker. "Like this." he pulls out a sword. "What do you think you're doing!" I yelled standing up and backing away. I tried concentrating to turn into my form, it was too late. "This!" he yelled and smacked my head with the side of his sword. Everything went back, the last things I heard was his laugh.

Laurance's POV

Aphmau didn't show up for lunch today, I wonder if she's okay. I asked some people if they think she's sick again. "I saw her at volleyball practice this morning so she can't be sick." Travis said. Hmm, I should go look for her. "Guys, I'm going to go look for her." I said standing up. They all were fine with it and I walked to the school's parking lot. I see Dante having trouble closing the trunk of his car. I walk over and ask him what's in there that he can't close it. "Uhh-umm s-supplies, yea supplies." he said obviously lying. "What kind of supplies?" I asked pretending to believe his horrible lie.                  "C-camping supplies." he started sweating. "Oh.. really, can I take a look?" I asked him raising an eyebrow. "N-no." I pushed him out of the way opened the trunk. There was a bag tied with holes in it, I picked it up and it wasn't that heavy but was heavy for 'camping supplies'. "What's this." I asked holding the bag. He closed his trunk and ran, I set the bag on the grass gently and cut it open.

Aphmau was inside this bag!? I'm going to kill Dante, she is completely knocked out. I decide to take her back home with me, what else am I going to do. I pick her up and walk her back to my house, once we get there I set her on the couch and run back to school so I can get our stuff. She won't be having that test anymore from the looks of things, I manage to get our belongings, even if I have to break her locker open and I run back home hoping she didn't wake up yet. I get home and am relieved to the fact that she is still knocked out, it's not a good thing but in this case I suppose it's better than her waking up and freaking out that she's here and not at school. I walk up to her and check to see if she's hurt, I only notice a bruise on her forehead. That is probably how he knocked her out, I carry her upstairs and lay her on my bed. She'd be more comfortable on a bed than a couch, I start on my homework.
