{ 9 } I love you

{ POV: Emma }

Once I heard Hook leave, I opened my eyes.

I couldn't believe what had just happened. The last thing I remembered was falling, then I felt someone kiss me. I heard everything Hook said. He said he loved me. But I still didn't know what had happened.

I sat up and looked around. I was on the Jolly Roger, I stood up. My white dress straightened out as I stood up. I left the room and headed above deck.

I didn't know what I was going to say to Hook, should I tell him I loved him too? Or would that freak him out? I decided to figure it out as I went along.

I finally got on deck and looked around. Hook was standing beside Navy with his back facing me. I slowly approached him, Navy saw me first and his jaw dropped. Hook noticed this and turned around.

His eyes grew wide. I smiled, "Hi". He looked lost for words. He finally opened his mouth, "H-How?...um...one second". He turned to Navy, "I'll be right back...keep sailing".

He approached me and we returned below deck. I smiled at him, "Hi". He smiled, "Are you ok? How did this happen?". I shrugged, "I don't even know what happened".

He frowned, "You were under a sleeping curse, love". My eyes grew wide, it was my turn to be shocked. "Well I guess when you kissed me, you broke the curse". He smiled again, "So, you heard everything I said?". I nodded, "I love you too".

He smiled bigger, "You do?". I nodded and leaned in to kiss him. We stayed like that for a while until he pulled back.

"Now that I know you are ok, may I just say...WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WERE YOU THINKING?" He yelled.

I sighed, "No one was listening to me...literally everyone, they all said we have direct orders from the Captain or The captain ordered us to...I knew the only way to fix this situation so I took matters into my own hands, and if you ask me, this is a way better result than if I had left".

He laughed, "Emma, you could've died!". "But I didn't! And we defeated Pan". He nodded and looked away.

I understand that going behind his back was a bit rude and he was mad, but I couldn't help but laugh at the concern he had for me. Where was it when we met?

He finally returned his gaze to me, "There's one more thing we need to discuss". I rolled my eyes, what now?

"I'm taking you home". My eyes widened, "What?!".

He looked confused, "Don't you miss your family?". I paused, "Yes, I do...but...ugh". He laughed, "But what?". I looked at him, this wasn't funny. "Do you realize what it meant when you woke me from the sleeping curse?!".

He was still confused, "It meant that...that was true love's kiss". Realization appeared on his face, "I know". I sighed, "So you're just going to kiss me, find out it's true love's kiss, then just drop me off and disappear".

He grabbed my hand in his, "I don't want to leave you, but I have to...you belong with your family, and I can't risk almost losing you again".

I looked into his ocean blue eyes. I could tell he meant every word. "But I'm ok!...I'm alive and breathing". His eyes widened, "You weren't breathing 10 minutes ago!".

I laughed, "How is this funny?". I looked at him, "I'm sorry...but why are you so protective?". He rolled his eyes, "Because I care about you...and I love you".

I smiled at him for a while. I could tell he meant it. I was lost for words. Regaining focus, I began to speak, "Well I don't want to go home, you can't just ditch me".

He sighed, "I know there's no changing your mind". I smiled, "Good, don't forget that...but I think I have a more reasonable plan". He nodded, "Of course you do".

I rolled my eyes, "How about we go back to my kingdom...I'll explain everything to my parents, then they will help us". Killian laughed. "what?...What's so funny?". He looked away still laughing, then his gaze fell on me, "You honestly think your parents will welcome me with open arms?". He had a point.

"It's a plan, I'll make them listen...you just have to trust me". He sighed and nodded.

I turned around and was about to walk away when he grabbed my hand and I spun around facing him. He smiled at me before he leaned in and kissed me. I smiled and we pulled away. "I just needed to do that one more time".

I rolled my eyes and walked out. I heard his footsteps following me and continued to walk on deck.
