{ POV: Emma }

"Neal please, you need to help us! She's missing!" I begged. Neal shook his head, "I care deeply about Julia but I need them to keep searching for my daughters". I was growing angrier by the second. I'm gonna kill him. "Clearly not deep enough!" I spat back.

He sighed, "Emma, I'm sure she'll be fine...she's probably in the meadow or something". I shook my head, "Killian checked there!". I knew this wasn't going to get me anywhere. I decided to forget about Neal. "You are too obsessed with finding them that you can't even lend one guard to look for Julia! You've been looking for fourteen years! When are you going to accept the fact that Bliss is gone?!" I waited a moment before turning and leaving.

I began to walk down the hallway. I felt tears falling down my cheeks. I stumbled and bumped into someone. I was about to apologize when I realized it was Killian I bumped into. I immediately wrapped my arms around his waist.

"I'm guessing he didn't lend you any guards?" He asked. I nodded and buried my head into his chest some more. "We'll find her" he said as he rubbed his hand up and down along my back. I nodded and pulled away from him. "Then let's find her" I said with a half hearted smile.

Suddenly I heard a sound coming from the window in the hallway. We turned and saw a bird sitting on the window cell. I walked over and noticed it had a note attached to its leg. I took it off and the bird immediately flew away. I quickly unfolded it:

Captain Hook,

Did you think you could run forever?
I have come across something quite interesting and quite special. Your daughter.
If you wish to see her again, come to my ship and fight me in a duel. First one dead, loses.
Let's see how old Captain Hook fights after years of heroism

I passed the note to Killian, "It's for you". He grabbed it, "What is it?". He looked down and started to read it. "I think I found our daughter" I said as he read it. Once he finished he looked up at me in shock. "He's docked" he said as he turned and started walking away. I quickly caught up to him. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Blackbeard is at our docks, he wants to fight me" he said as he left the castle.

---------------

I followed him to the docks where Blackbeard's ship was docked. Killian was right. Blackbeard was standing in front of his ship with a group of men beside him. He saw us and smiled. We stood right in front of him and waited for him to speak. "I see you got my note" he said with a grin.

Killian nodded, "I suggest you hand over my daughter, now!". Blackbeard laughed, "We fight first". Killian shook his head, "Return my daughter at once!".

Blackbeard chuckled, "So this is what happened to the ruthless Captain Hook? He became a useless hero?". I watched as Killian became even more angrier than before. "I became something much better: a husband and a father!" Killian said proudly.

Blackbeard just laughed. This wasn't going to end well. "Please, she had nothing to do with this!" I begged. Blackbeard nodded, "That may be true but I'm not handing her over until Captain Hook beats me".

Blackbeard turned to two men and nodded. They approached us and grabbed our arms. They dragged us on deck as Blackbeard followed close behind. The crew members began to set sail. We had no choice but to stand there and wait for Blackbeard's next move. He watched us for a while.

"Now I hope you are prepared" Blackbeard said to Killian. Killian nodded, "I fight you...if you lose, you return my daughter safely to me...if you win-". "I return your daughter to the castle and I get to keep your beautiful wife" Blackbeard finished with a smirk. Killian grew angrier. "No! You will keep your hands off my wife and daughter!" Killian shouted back. Blackbeard sighed, "That's the only deal I'm making...take it or leave it".

I pulled Killian's face towards me to make him look me in the eye. "Take the deal" I said. He shook his head, "Emma, if I lose-". "Then you will have tried your best to save our daughter" I finished. He sighed and nodded, "Ok". He turned back to Blackbeard, "Ok, deal". Blackbeard smiled, "Great".

"Prepare for a legendary battle" Blackbeard said as he tossed Killian a sword.
