{ 14 } Diamond Quest

{ POV: Snow }

I looked down at Emma. She looked pale and lifeless. I turned to Charming, "What do we do? They have Killian".

He shook his head, "I don't know...but we have to find him, and fast". I nodded, "We need help".

I saw his face light up, "Killian is the only way to save Emma...so we are going to need to save him". "Who can help us?" I asked confused.

He smiled, "Rumplestiltskin".

Charming held Emma in his arms as we walked back home. Once we reached the castle we summoned him. "Rumplestiltksin!...Rumplestiltskin!.... Rumplestiltskin! I called. He appeared in front of us.

"What is it? Why have you called me?" He asked. "Emma was put under a sleeping curse by Regina, we need your help to break it!".

He rolled his eyes, "I just woke her from a sleeping curse like an hour ago!". He grumbled and stepped closer. "Just get Hook to kiss her".

"Killian was taken by Regina" I explained. He laughed, "Clever one isn't she?". Clever? Regina was not clever, she was evil.

"You want me to find him for you" he said. "Yes" I replied. "Quite the favour, dearie".

I rolled my eyes and turned to Charming. He stepped closer and looked at Rumplesitlskin. "Please help us" he begged.

He smirked, "In exchange, I want a special diamond that is found in a cave nearby". "Why don't you just get it yourself?" I asked.

"Well if you must know, only people with 'good hearts' may pass through" he scolded us.

"So if we get this diamond for you, you'll give us Killian?" I asked hopeful. He nodded, "Do we have a deal?".

We nodded and he waved his hand in the air.

The next thing we knew we were standing in front of a cave. I turned to Charming who was standing beside me shocked. He still had Emma in his arms.

"I assume this is the cave" I said pointing to the cave. He nodded, "let's go inside and get that diamond". He stepped forward but I quickly stopped him.

"Wait!...we can't go in there with Emma, it will make it harder...one of us should go inside and one of us should stay with Emma" I suggested. He nodded, "Ok, I'll go". He gently set Emma down on the ground beside a big rock. I turned to Snow, "I'll be right back, stay with Emma".

"Are you sure?" I asked, unsure of this myself. He nodded, "Don't worry, I'll be fine" he kissed the top of my head and walked into the cave. I watched as he slowly disappeared.

I turned and sat down beside Emma. I set her head down on my lap and ran my fingers threw her hair.

{ POV: Charming }

I entered the cave and looked around. I felt a wave of something pass threw me, I knew it was magic. It must have been a magic barrier, the one that kept people like Rumplestiltskin out.

It was very dusty. I kept walking until I reached a cliff. Across it was a huge rock and on the Rock was the diamond. I studied the cliff trying to figure out the best way across.

It wasn't a big cliff so I decided to jump for it. I backed up and had a running head start. I jumped and landed on the other side with a thump.

I looked up and saw the diamond shinning in my face. I smiled and reached to pick it up.

I smiled at my accomplishment as I held it in my hand. I know it wasn't a lot of work but I jumped a cliff. A cliff!

I smiled and turned around. Oh boy, now I had to jump back over. I put the diamond in my satchel and jumped over. I landed and heard that familiar thump. Then I exited the cave.

Snow was sitting with Emma's head in her lap. I walked over to her smiling. She saw me and gently slipped away from Emma and ran to me. I wrapped my arms around her and smiled, "I got it!".

She smiled, "Good! Now let's go get Rumplestiltskin". I was about to summon him when I heard his familiar voice, "No need, dearie".

We turned and saw Rumplestiltskin smiling. I took out the diamond and handed it to him. He giggled, "You succeeded! Excellent!". He took it from me and examined it.

"We had a deal!...where's Killian?" I slightly shouted. He grinned, "You've got fire. I like it!". I rolled my eyes as he stuffed the diamond in his jacket. He looked back at us and waved his hand.

Killian was on the floor with a bloody gash on his head. We smiled at him and turned to Rumplstiltskin, "Thank you!". He smirked, "A deal is a deal...and I never break deals". He laughed and disappeared.
