That night, I felt like there was a presence in my cabin. Of course, I always felt like that. Ever since the Stoll's stripped me and threw me in the lake, I always felt like someone was watching me.

But this time it was different. I almost went to alert another camper, but in a sudden blur of motion, some..thing popped out and slit my wrist.

"Goodnight Nico di Angelo."

*'*'*'

cecil-

"Nico, Nico!" I yelled obnoxiously.

Nobody had seen him all day, and Masa, my half sister, sent me to go look for him.

"Need some help?" Lou asked. I raised an eyebrow.

"No shit, sherlock," I said with a cocky attitude.

She just shook her head, and helped me look.

"Hey genius. Have you checked his cabin yet?" Lou asked me, irritated.

I mouthed my infamous 'oops', and we ran towards his cabin.

I knocked loudly on the door, "Nico?" There was no answer.

Lou kicked the door so hard, it creaked open. I stared at her with awe.

"Damn girl."

She glared at me and walked in. But what we got was unexpected.

Nico lay on the bed, eyes open, but clouded, as if he was in some sort of trance

"Nico..." Lou mumbled, scared.

He didn't answer, or even move. Not a single indication that he was even alive.

I had no idea what was going on. I slowly stepped up toward his bed post, and slapped his face. No reaction. I wasn't transformed into a pile of shadow goop.

Something was really wrong.

"Will! Percy! Someone!" I shouted frantically.

Gods, I was terrified. I mean, I was only 13! No fucking thirteen year old deals with shit like that unless they're fucking demigods, ok!

Percy and Annabeth burst into the cabin, followed by Will and Travis, who had a waffle in his mouth.

"Oh my gods," Will muttered, "Nico?"

"He's not responding. Or doing anything" Lou said, so freaked out she looked as if she were going to cry.

The son of Apollo took a deep breath, and thought hard.

"Okay, Percy Cecil, help me carry him to infirmary" Will said, taking position as a leader. I nodded, and grabbed Nico's legs.

"Damn Nico" Percy grunted, "You are a lot heavier when you are half dead."

Annabeth raised an eyebrow, still incredibly pale. "How would you know that." Percy gave her a look as if to say 'Long story.' Crappy timing Percabeth.

Once we got to the infirmary, Percy and I set Nico down on a hammock while Will rummaged through a cabinet.

"Do you know what's wrong with him?" I asked curiously, but still shaken up.

Never in my life had I seen something like that. And seeing Nico di Angelo so vulnerable was a new experience.

"Not moving, eyes wide, probably sleep paralysis" Will confirmed, wrapping the black cut on Nico's wrist [Which I just noticed].
