chapter seventeen

Sorry this one is really short. Leave comments on what you think so far. I know it is not as good as I would like but this is pretty well my limit. So take it as it is. Maybe one day it will be on a book shelf somewhere.
Well without further to do. Here is chapter seventeen enjoy.

Rize snuggles closer to me holding me close as he sleeps. I watch him as I reach out tucking a black lock of his hair behind his ear. I drop my hand from him and hold my hands together. I should feel something but I do not. It should be wrong to feel nothing for the only person who does not ask for anything from me. Other then to share my burrden with him but we both now I will never let him on like that.

I should stay far from him. He is so important to Zinyu. This is her son and I have soiled him, tainted him. I should not be here. This kind man is not ment for me. I am not worthy of someone like him. I should leave him before he becomes attached to me and I harm him later on. I should but I am unable to find it within myself to let this man go.

But I must for Zinyu's sake. I must leave now and quickly before he awakens and stops me. I have to leave him. I slide out from under his large naked
Frame and look over my shoulder at him. I may not feel anything but I am drawn to him. My darker self bagging me to stay with the only man that is able to find it within himself to love her despite who she is.

I shove her down not letting her take over and leave the room before he awakens or worse she finds a way to convince me to stay. She claws at me racking her way up from under me trying to take control. I shove her down hard holding her still as I walk down the hallway of Fa's home to the front door. As I pass Fa's room she comes out her door yawning and shuts the door behind her. She walks up behind me with a wide smile.

"Where are you off to?" she asks.

"I must leave Fa." I says and turn around facing her.

"Why, I thought since you finally found someone, that you would stay here with us and make this your home?" she says looking taken back.

"Fa I will not taint him. I am to dark. If I stay the day will come when I take his life. He and I are not ment to be." I state as my other half screams at me as she claws my insides trying to get control again. "I will not let that happen. For the sake of Zinyu his mother I will not stay." I say.

"When will you stop this selfless path and except what is in front of you. Enyo you keep this up and it will kill you." Fa says and reaches her hand out for me to take.

I turn from her not taking her hand. "It already has." I state as I walk out her front door leaving them all behind safe from me. I walk down the path and step off her land. I fall fast and pull Valdis around me. It takes me within it's depths and I look around the darkness to find Zinyu.

She is no where to be found not even a glimmer of her once bright light is able to be found. Valdis has finally snuffed out her light as it has been trying to do for so long. Her light which once shined brightly is no more and Valdis' laughs at that fact. Valdis has taken so much from us and we brought this upon ourselves.

"Valdis." I whisper in the dark of the void. "I have returned, do as you will with me. I Am yours." I says and hands form from every inch of the void grab a hold of me. The nails hooking in my flesh as I am pulled apart slowly mercilessly as a hestrical laugh fills the darkness around me.

"Pay, you will pay for abandoning us. Never will we let you go. Never again." It yells out as I hear the voices of the dead scream as their souls are taken from me and devoured by Valdis feeding it's power more with their fear.

I do not feel the pain as it rips me limb from limb and I laugh at Valdis. "Running out of ideas. You have done this one more then once before." I say laughing as my darker self weather's in pain within me. She screams as she tries clawing Her way out of me. I force her down once again and hold her still as she shacks scream out the pain that Valdis is inflicting on us. I ignor her as she digs her nails into my insides and screams again as my limbs are ripped from my torso.

I let Valdis do as it like till it finally stops and I float seeking out Zinyu. I feel her suffice from the deepest and darkest place of Valdis. I reach my hand out grabbing her hand pulling her to me. Her eyes open to slights as her right on reforms within Her eye socket. Her intire right side has the skin piled away revealing the charade sinew and bone.

She moans as her flesh revives conecting back with itself as Her sinew and bone heal. I look over her body and dark side pushes her guilt at me. I know I should feel it but i Unable to.

"I am sorry Zinyu. Had I been here this would not of happened to you." I state still unable to feel guilt.

"Do not say you are sorry for something you Are unable to control. Valdis would have harmed me whether you are here or not. Beside we both know you do not feel anything Enyo. You are only going through the motions nothing more." Zinyu says smiling weakly at me.

"I know Zinyu." I say and she closes her eyes pushing away from me. Valdis grabs a hold of her pulling her down into it's depths. I watch her knowing that both of them Zinyu and Zaine sought out Valdis in hopes of destroying the same man. I am the result of such rash actions. Zinyu made me with the soul purpose of taking down Zimis and now his bloodline as well. I feel myself coming off the numbness that has helped me survive so long. Tears well up and spill as I bit down on my lip drawing blood.

"I am truly sorry Zinyu. My selfish act has caused so much pain for those around me but i can not let myself feel. If I do I will never be able to end Alistair." I say as I force back my feeling once again and pull my armor of numbness back over me. It fits like a glove over every inch of me and I look up away from where Zinyu Had been taken. "I swear Zinyu one day I will end his bloodline. I swear it." I say to Her even though I know she can not hear me.
