Jason's pov
Tomorrow is my wedding to my beloved. So I relish my last day of being a bachelor. I sit in the really old tree on my dad's farm. "Jason? What are you doing up there?" I hear my princess call. I smirk and lean back, holding my legs to the tree to where I'm hanging upside down. "I'm just hangin' around." I say, shrugging and holding my hat to my head. She smiles and kisses me. I do a backflip to get out of the tree and land on my feet. She claps and holds my hand. "I'm so excited for tomorrow!" "Me too baby."
*the next day*
She told me when we get married, she wanted to do it on the beach so that's what we're doing. Her dad is marrying us too so that's just double awesome. I fix my tie and walk out barefoot onto the beach. He smiles and waves me over. "I... I'm sorry for before." "It's alright sir, you were just worried about your little girl." "Daddy!" She calls. I turn around and stand to the side. "What do you think?" She asks, twirling. "You look gorgeous, princess. I'm so proud." I hold her hands and she stares into my eyes. "I'm becoming a husband and a daddy." I whisper, resting a hand against her stomach. At first the idea of being a dad worried me. Now I can't wait! Everyone takes their seats and her father opens the bible.

Justin, who is my best man, hands me my vows. "I want to thank my best friend Justin. Without him, I never even woulda been at the church that day and I never woulda met the girl I love with all my heart. Also I want to thank her dad for giving me a chance. I thank God for all I've been given. Nothing would be possible. I kiss her gently. "You'll always be my one and only. "Oh Jason!" She does her vows. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." I put my hands to her cheeks and press my lips to hers in the most passionate kiss ever. I lace my fingers with hers and wave to the crowd. I never knew a country singer could ever be so proud!
*later*
I walk to the water's edge. It's gotten dark now. The water blackened by night laps against the shore and onto my feet. I hear footsteps. I thought it was my princess but it was her dad. He smiles and stands beside me, breathing in the salty ocean air. "You did good son." He says. "Thanks sir. I wouldn't have ever given up." He looks at me and holds a hand out. We shake hands. "I'm proud to call you my son in law." I smile wide. "I'll make you proud, father." He chuckles. "You're a great kid, Jason. I'm glad my daughter met you." "Me too. I thank God everyday that I have her." We both laugh and enjoy the night.
