I was sitting at the table watching my girl cook breakfast. I smile and prop my head on my hand. I can just see it with a baby in her arms. I can see her now, with her hair turning gray. I stand up and turn her around, kissing her lips. "What I can't see is how I'm ever gonna love you more." I whisper, kissing her again. "But I've said that before." I sit her down at the table and grab my guitar. "Now you're my whole life, now you're my whole world, I just can't believe the way I feel about you girl, like the river meets the sea, stronger than it's ever been, we've come so far since that day and I thought I loved you then!" I sing Brad's song Then.I set my guitar down and twirl her, catching her in my arms. "And I thought I loved you then." I whisper, kissing her. "Oh Jason that was beautiful." "Thank Mr. Paisley. He's a genius at coming up with just the right songs.

Luke, Eric, Brad, and Mike all show up at my door. I scratch my head confused. "What's up, guys?" I ask, confused. "Um, have you done anything?" Luke asks, confusing me. "For the baby! Have you gotten a crib?" I shake my head. "Bottles?" "No but-" Mike grabs my shoulder. "Then there's no time to lose!" He exclaims, pulling me toward the truck. "Ok ok guys calm down. Lemme just tell Miranda. Jeez." I gasp, walking back inside. "Hey babe, the guys are acting weird so I'm gonna see what they want." I call. "Alright, see ya when you get back." She says. I go with the guys and we get all the essential baby stuff. "You guys do know she's only two months pregnant. We've still got a while." "It'll be here before ya know it. Trust me." Luke says. He's got two boys so I just go with it. "Hey Brad, I got a favor to ask." I say.

Miranda's pov

Jason texts me.

J: hey babe, come to the park on west street.

M: why?

J: it's a surprise.

I bite my lip in excitement and rush to get ready.

*20 minutes later*

I get to the park and Jason leans against a tree with roses in his hands. I hear music in the background. "I remember trying not to stare, the night that I first met you, you had me mesmerized and weeks later in the front porch light taking 45 minutes to kiss goodnight. I hadn't told ya yet but I thought I loved you then." He hands me the roses. I feel happy tears in my eyes. "We've come so far since that day and I thought I loved you then. I remember taking you back to right where I first met you, you were so surprised there were people around but I didn't care I got down on one knee right there and once again I thought I loved you then." He wraps his arms around my waist and we sway to the music. I dropped the roses and wrapped my arms around him, my head against his chest. "And we'll look back at this moment and say I thought I loved you then." Brad walks out from behind the tree and Jason kisses me gently. "I just don't see how I can love you more but I've said that before." He whispers. "And I thought I loved you then." I whisper back, kissing him just as strongly. I throw my arms around his neck and he spins me around. "Just when I thought it couldn't get no hotter I fell in love with the preacher's daughter." He whispers, pressing his lips to mine in one of the most passionate kisses ever.
