Morrigan's P.O.V.

Anthony stood in silence as I had just finished telling him the story of everything that I had been going through and without a word he gave me a tight hug. "I'm so sorry Mori, I never knew that was the reason you weren't at school... I should've asked..." I shook my head eagerly. "No, Zena. I'm happy you didn't ask because I didn't want you to worry about me." He cleared his throat, let go of me and looked at the floor. "M-Mori, I'm always worried about you." I felt my eyes widen and stare at him. "That's not what I expected to hear at all." The minute bell rang and I snapped back to reality. "I'll see you l-later Zena." I said swiftly turning to leave for science class just as swung me around into his arms again. "I'll see you soon, Mori." After he let go I stood in silence then the final bell rang but I didn't even care. I don't even know what just happened, but I know that today won't be the last day I will see him and that was better than anything I could think of.

The bell indicating sixth hour was over rang and I basically ran to my locker. I got my backpack, binder and sweater then waited to see if he would come.

After five minutes passed I guessed he had forgotten about me. I picked up my feet and started walking down the hall not feeling surprised at all that he didn't show up. People break promises all the time, this was no different.

I was halfway down the staircase when I heard my name being spoken. "Morrigan?" That could only be one voice and it wasn't Anthony's. "Y-Yui?" What- no, how could she be here with Angel watching her every step and breath. I had a feeling in my mind that they hadn't broken up yet, so how was she here?

"I had to see you for even a few minutes. Angel is driving me crazy. She won't leave me alone for even five minutes and if I don't text her back in thirty minutes she assumes I'm hanging out with you or Miley."

"Well you are right now." I snarled. "Anyways, if you don't like the way she's treating you why don't you break up with her?" Yui sighed and shook her head. "I-I don't know. Right now it's not easy to decide what I want but last week I tried to break up with her and she cried so hard she almost passed out so I said I was just joking. Today she kept texting me when I was in language arts class so many times just because I didn't answer her during lunch or science. I got my phone taken away because it kept vibrating so much. I'm supposed to be in sixth hour now but I wanted to talk to you and I can't go after school because... because...." She trailed off. "Because what?" I asked.

"I-I'm living with A-Angel for the next month or next year." She sighed in frustration and drew in a deep breath. "My... My mom isn't doing so well and so her and my dad are going to a hospital in New York to get her operation done. They said it would be very pricy and risky for me to come with them so they asked Angel's parents if I could stay with them for awhile. They thought it would be a week but turns out my mom needs therapy and support. The problems she has occurred here in our town so the doctors said to my dad that it would be best to keep her as far away as possible." Yui looked at her feet.

"What do you think happened to her here?" I asked making Yui look at me. "I-I think that it was my fault... Ever since I told her I was... You know, dating Angel she kept her distance from me. I want to make her happy... I just don't know how anymore..." I know my bus had gone by now, but that's okay. Yui and I needed to spend some time together.

I kicked at the pile of leaves on the way home as Yui ranted on about her mom, her stalking life, and her pet snake that she had gotten last week for her birthday.

"See the reason I got the snake is to one day put it in Angels pillow and maybe if she traces it back to me she will kick me out of her house and I won't have to live with her anym-"

Just as we stepped onto the pavement leading to my house I saw a familiar black haired beast standing right outside my door.

"Yui..." I said nudging her.

"What?" She asked then looked at Angel and she knew the answer.

"Yui what the hell do you think you're doing here?" Angel said marching up to her short red haired girlfriend who seemed too fazed to speak when suddenly, I spoke up. "I could ask you the same question, Angel." I said glaring at her. "Aren't you supposed to be in drama club now?" I asked Angel pushing her away from Yui. Yui cowered behind me but I was seriously sick of Angel. "What's so wrong with you that you can't understand what it means to have a partner? Yui doesn't need to follow only your rules in this relationship or what ever the hell you two have going on here!" I shouted loud enough to wake someone up in Canada. "Angel you should listen to what Yui wants too you know. You can't just say she's banned to hang out with her friends because you don't get along with them and if you can't agree with what she wants then I'm sure you won't be able to keep her much longer." I yelled feeling tears rise in my eyes. "I don't understand why you're so against me... or... or why the hell you're blocking me out of Yui's life. For crying out loud I don't even know what I did to make you hate me so much so if you could just give us an explanation for this I think we would all be just a little bit happier."

And so there we were. Standing in the middle of my driveway arguing about everything all at once. Angel took a step back and for the first time I saw weakness in her eyes as if she didn't want to hurt anyone but was being forced to by the emotions inside of her. "You were always so, how do I say it? Homely. You couldn't afford your own clothes so instead you took the ones from your cousin that are obviously from the nineteen hundreds. As for your appearance in general, you hair was always a short tangled mess that I always honestly wanted to shave off of your head because it honestly
looked that disgusting. You're legs aren't necessarily pretty, needless to say they're very fat in my opinion because they don't match your skinny build up on your torso and face. Lastly, you and your parents always seemed like you were hiding something besides the fact that you were extremely poor so that's why when I met Rin I thought it would be a nice chance to not be around someone like you, a disgusting little girl who, even years later is exactly the same." Angel finished leaving me empty and heartbroken. She then took Yui by the arm from behind me but I saw out of the corner of my eye that Yui was crying. "Morrigan's right." Yui said looking at Angel straight in the eye with her green eyes firing up. "If you don't agree to letting me hang out with Mori and Miley and stop texting me every damn thirty minutes I will leave you right now." All Angel did was scoff. "Where will you live Yui? Where will you get cute clothes and how will you eat, or sleep, and go to school?" Yui pondered her thoughts and I saw her eyes gaze down to the cracked driveway. "My parents haven't been home in weeks, so she can stay with me." I said tugging Angel by the arm to make her look at me.

Angel's head whipped around and you could see the dreadful fear in her eyes but that fear quickly turned to nothingness. "I guess I can't love you anymore then, Yui. You're not who I thought you were." Angel said. I turned my head towards Yui and I swear you could've heard her heart break. Angel's eyes filled with tears but before we could see her cry, she ran down the road without another word.
