Morrigan's P.O.V

I stayed in the hospital room with Tyler that night until he finally fell asleep at two in the morning, but when I left I must've shut the door too loud because I woke him up. I stayed outside the door for a moment only to hear him talking to himself about Mason. How much he missed Mason. Then he did something I didn't think he would do.

He cried. I could hear him crying Mason's name like when an infant cries for a parent. It broke my heart when I knew Mason would most likely never take him back.

I took out my phone and even though I knew I shouldn't do this, I texted Mason.

Mason's P.O.V.

I woke up to hear a text go off from my phone and dazed and confused I picked up my phone to see a long text from Morrigan.

"You should go talk to Tyler. After the second I left his hospital room I heard him wake up and started to cry about you, he started to cry for you. I know I shouldn't be telling you this but I thought you should know how sad he is without you. I hope you visit him tomorrow before it gets worse. Have a goodnight though, I'm heading home I'll see you soon." -M

My eyes widened a bit and I suddenly felt bad. I made Tyler sad after my outburst and I didn't even think of apologizing. I felt terrible and I didn't feel the need to sleep anymore.

I was still at Morrigan's house and now I guess I'm living with her. I got out of bed and washed my face, trying to make myself feel less sick. I walked down the stairs to hear nothing but the sound of my footsteps. It was a nice change from home. No yelling, no screaming, no broken bottles on the floor. Just silence.

I opened the fridge to find banana bread that was made and there was a note attached.

"Hope you guys are alright, we should hang out soon!" -Yui

I laughed to myself, I remembered Yui and I wasn't surprised at all if she truly did sneak this into our house. I threw the plastic wrap away in the garbage only to see a bunch of empty pudding cups in the trash. Yep, Yui was definitely here. I laughed a little bit louder and sat down in the living room to eat some banana bread. I watched cartoons as childish as it sounds and ate until I heard the front door open.

"Hey Mason I'm home." Morrigan called from the front door.

I walked over to meet her and saw her face. She looked honestly terrible. I read the clock and now it was almost three in the morning. Her clothes had some rips in them, her eyes were heavy with the weight of her world on her frail shoulders. I really wish she could be the same happy person she used to be when Tony was alive.

"You okay?" She asked looking me in the eye.

"Yeah." I responded seeing the sadness she had glowing in her eyes fade a little bit when I told her I was alright. Then, I understood. She liked making other people happy.

That's what her whole life was about.

When Morrigan fell asleep it ended up being seven in the morning because she insisted on making breakfast for both of us. I cleaned the dishes and put on my shoes because out of the kindness she has done for me, I figured I could take her advice and go visit Tyler.

I arrived at the bus stop awhile later five minutes early for the bus to get a text from Morrigan.
