(This is my second fave pic of Gabe.)

Gabe's POV:

My feelings for Analyn get stronger everyday. We have a love-hate relationship. Well, at least I do. She stopped talking to me ever since high school started. I mean I can understand why. I was never around her and we just didn't get along. Now she's tutoring me so I don't fail Chemistry. I get on my penny board and make my way to her house. Analyn got really pretty over the years honestly. I mean she's always been pretty, but she looks great. And when she's shy.. It's so cute. I get to the front of her house and wow. It is HUGE. I ring the doorbell and she opens up. And let's just say, Analyn has a hot body. I mean you can so tell she does.

"Hi.. Did you bring your textbook?" She asks me quietly and lets me in. Her house is so nice on the inside too. She leads me to the kitchen where there is a island and chairs.

"Yeah I did." I set my stuff down and we both sit.

"Um.. Do you want anything to eat or drink before we start?" Analyn points to the fridge and I shake my head. "Alright so we can start."

"Before we start, how are you good at Chemistry?" I question her. Dumb question but whatever.

"It's pretty simple actually. You just need to participate in class and do the work." She shrugs and sits next to me. Analyn use to be a chatterbox when we were friends. Now, it's like she can't even talk to me.

"Oh. But I don't understand it. Like I don't understand what Mrs.Mendoza is teaching." She opens the book to the first page.

"Before we actually read the textbook, I'm gonna go over the basics." And she explains everything about Chemistry. She makes me take notes and I'm just frustrated. I don't understand any of this. It's only been an hour and I'm surprised Analyn is really patient.

"Analyn, I'm frustrated." I tell her. She gives me a soft look.

"You just need a break. Let's go into my backyard." Analyn gets up and I follow her. She's got a nice backyard too. Analyn's old house was much smaller than this. She didn't have a pool or anything. She lived normal.

"Analyn, what happened to us being friends?" I looked at her and she fiddled with hands. She looked so pretty as the wind blew through her hair.

"I don't like talking about it Gabe. And things change for the better. You can't take back what you said to me four years ago." She doesn't make any eye contact with me.

"But.." I didn't know what to say.

"Gabe, just forget about it. You changed. I changed. Maybe we weren't meant to be friends." She gets up. "You can't really take back the past."

"Analyn I-" I start off.

"Gabe, it's okay. I've forgiven you but I can't ever trust you again. Let's get back to Chemistry." We both forget about what happens, but I don't let it go. I'm at her house until six o'clock.

"I should get going. Same time tomorrow..?" I ask, awkwardly.

"Um.. Come around ten so we can get a early start." She walks me to the door.

"Okay um.. Bye..?" I say and she gives me a small smile. She shuts the door. I get on my penny board and go home.

Analyn's POV:

Thank God he left. I get so anxious around him. I can't even talk to him. It seems like he changed but I just can't trust him anymore. I can't really talk to anyone besides Lani. And speaking of Lani, she keeps texting me. And she wants me to come over now so she can help me get ready. Lani and I have different styles. She's more of a biker chick and I'm more of the shy casual type. She lives two streets down. I leave a note to my dad that I'm gonna be home late because I'm "studying." I hate lying to them. They would KILL me if I went to a party that had alcohol and drugs. I go to her house and leads me up to her room.

"Okay, for me.. How about this?" She comes out of her closet wearing black leather shorts, white tank top with a leather jacket over it. And her black combat boots.

"I like it." I shrug. On Lani, it looks great.

"Now it's time for you." She pulled me into her closet and made me wear a black halter crop top with black skinny jeans and a flannel around my waist.

"Lani.. Are you serious?" I look at my outfit. It really isn't something I would wear.

"I don't care. You look awesome." She fixes my hair. "Now it's time for your makeup."

"Ugh. Who did you invite?" I ask as she open up her makeup pallets.

"Everyone in junior year." She shrugs. "And some seniors."

"Did you invite Gabe and his friends?" Please say no.

"Ana, EVERYONE IN JUNIOR YEAR." She tells me. "I'm hoping to get with either Sean or Kenneth you know?"

"No Lani. I don't. No guy finds me attractive. I'm too shy." It's true.

"Gabe..." Lani widens her eyes and whispers.

"Oh quiet. I don't like him." I don't know how many times I gotta say it.

"I'm done!" Lani hands me the mirror. I look the same.

"Lani, I look the same." I look at her.

"Wait.." She adds pink lipstick. Ew, I hate lipstick.

"Why do you have pink if you almost always wear red?" I ask her.

"Because I have a shy friend like you that doesn't wear dramatic colors." She smiles at me.

"Whatever. Let's get this over with." I shake my head.
