Prologue

Once, I commited a mistake.

I have to stay away from everything. I have to hide myself. I have to.

There, you meet me, while I'm hiding. You're such a lovely young lady.

I cannot love you, I cannot love you for I commited a crime.

But.. I can't help myself from falling..

I dared to love you.. but in the end.. for the second time..

I commited again my biggest mistake..

to the point that everything I have, in just a snap, shattered into pieces..

I don't want to hurt you.. but in the end.. I just did.. in the last drop of rain..

"Let's break up. I don't want you anymore."

Cooling breeze, blowing wind, it started to rain.

"What? Wag ka namang magbiro, Rio! Di nakakatuwa, ah!"

The rain is pouring down, sneezing our knees to death.

"I'm darn serious, Nadine."

As the rain pour, your tears pour. Pounding my heart like it's killing me.

"N-no! Ayoko! Ayoko! Ayoko! Hindi pwede! Wag mo namang gawin sakin 'to! Nasasaktan ako, Rio!!"

I promised that I'll never hurt, now, I believe that promises are meant to be broken.

"We're over. And mind you, it's Kirk, not Rio."

With that I leave you, pouring your tears in the last drop of rain..
