Toriel chuckled softly as she watched Frisk playfully chase the Froggits in the ruins. "Having fun I see my child?" Frisk stopped and shook her head, but then resumed the chase.

"Such a silly child." Toriel smile grew and began to follow Frisk to ensure her safety.

"Don't go to far now." Frisk was far head of Toriel, and even though that Toriel knew the ruins were safe for Frisk, it still bothered her as her mind made up imaginary accidents like Frisk tripping on a rock that has been accidentally kicked into the ruins. Her thoughts made her place quicken until it was a full on sprint and sharply as turned one of the corners.

Toriel was relieved to see the child sitting on the floor petting one of the Froggits as the others waited patiently for their turn and she breathed out allowing the stiffness to flow out of her body.

"My child such a little angel." She reached her big fluffy paws under Frisk's armpits and slowly lifted the fragile child and Toriel held her lovingly.

"I see you made some new friends." The Froggits looked up at Toriel in attention.

"We were playing tag!" The child giggled causing Toriel to hold them closer. She then looked down at the Froggits. "Thank you." She smiled sincerely. "But now it is time for my child to wash up and get ready for dinner." The Froggits hopped away and Frisk's smile faltered.

"But mommy, I don't wanna bath." Frisk whined and Toriel looked at her child. "O, but don't you want to look all nice for when Sans and Papyrus come over for dinner?" Life was brought back into Frisk's face.

"Really, mommy!? There're coming?!" Frisk exclaimed she missed her Dunkle Sans and Uncle Papyrus. They been both very distant lately, but for different reasons. Papyrus just been so fascinated with the surface world, and just wants to befriend everyone he meets up there, so it has been awhile since he visited, but Sans is another story. Frisk had always loved the funny, punny, skeleton, but he always seemed more distant than the rest. Even before the barrier broke Sans never seemed to open up like all the other monsters she met, and it's just gotten worse since it fell. When she thinks back to it the last time she saw Sans was when they finally broke the barrier and reached the surface.

"Yes, my child. Now let's give you a bath and after that you can help me prepare the meals." Toriel said softly as Frisk clapped their hands together, "Yas!"

Toriel made her way to the bath room, "And don't worry my child." She snickered, "I won't Frogget to make butterscotch cinnamon pie!" Frisk looked at Toriel and folded their arms displeased.

"Mommy, nooo!" Frisk whined causing Toriel to laugh so hard that she snorted.

"Was it really that bad- my child?" She was unable to control her fit of bubbling laughter.

-Meanwhile On Mt. Ebbot-

Sans sat at one of the flat pathways with an vacant expression. He looked up at the stars, trying to ignore the throbbing pain in his head. The more he looked at the stars more of them appeared. Alphys would have really enjoyed this. He chuckled weakly remembering the time they spent together as little brainy children, "I wish you were here science sis..."

He felt something was not right, like their was an imbalance that he could not detect.

"Everything was done right..." His head started to spin and he paused leaning back letting his back rest on cold smooth surface.

"Everyone is alive..." He put a hand on his right eye socket, "Then why would I feel this way with everything I know about the timelines..." Shaking his head he regained focus and the pain became a faint burden on his mind. "This is not supposed to happen."
