Peeta's POV-
The next morning I wake up to Effie screaming at me to get ready.

I quickly get ready before Katniss does, and walk downstairs to Haymitch. "Haymitch?" I ask. He looks up at me with a blank stare. "Is it oaky if Katniss and I train alone from now on?" Haymitch looks surprised at what I just said. I'm only doing this because if it comes down to the two of us, I don't really want to be good friends or its just going to be hard. "Sure, Peeta." I nod my head in response and walk out without another word.

Effie tells us that we need to begin prepping for the interviews so we head over to the remake center.

Portia walks in. "Hello Peeta!" She says in her capital accent. She sounds just as cheerful as Effie, but not as annoying. "Hi Portia." I say with a smile, that's not a fake one. I actually enjoy prepping because of my prep team. They are so nice to me and they don't make me go through insane things like try on a suit that's made of coal or something.

"Alright Peeta," She says. "This will be just like the tribute parade. We won't have to do much work on you. You should be done in about an hour."

Good! I think. I need to tell Haymitch that I want to train alone from now on. I love Katniss, but if it does come down to the two of us, well....I don't even want to think about it.

They first hose me down and shave my legs with some sort of device. She then makes me comb my hair again and made me brush my teeth again. She then gives me my interview outfit.

It's a black suit with little streaks of red. There is the color of the fire that was on our outfits during the Tribute Parade.

I slip on the outfit that is fairly comfortable. The fabric is soft and the matching black shoes have soft material too. "Just a little more makeup...."

"Peeta!" Her expression is filled with shock and she stands back to admire her piece of work. "You look amazing!" I smile. "Thank you." She smiles and nods her head slightly. "Let's go to the interviews." She says as we walk out of the remake center.

I walk into a line that contains all twenty four tributes. I see Katniss standing in front of me and she glares at me the minute I walked through the door. I don't say anything.

Before I know it, District 1 is going. A young girl named Glimmer walks out onto the stage. Ceaser Flickerman greets her with a smile.

Ceaser Flickerman is the host of the games. He dyes his hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes a different color every year. This year it's a powder blue. He's usually very gentle with the tributes, especially the young ones like Rue.

It's Katniss' turn! Where did the time go?! A feeling of worry is in the pit of my stomach. I hope she does okay.

A peacekeeper escorts her to the stage and with that, Ceaser starts his introduction.

"Ladies and gentleman, you know her as the girl on fire!" The crowd roars with applause. "But we know her as the lovely Katniss Everdeen!" With this the crowd is erupting, exploding with applause.

Katniss walks out in the stage. She looks stunning! She wears a gorgeous red and orange dress. Almost like....like....fire. The girl on fire. Ceaser mumbles something I can't quite here because I'm too caught up in looking at Katniss. Katniss didn't quite here him either because she looks around the room while Ceaser is looking at her to answer the question. "What?" She asks in a confused tone. I chuckle at this and the crowd, along with Ceaser are bursting out with laughter. "I think someone's a little nervous!" He blurts out. There's a little more laughter before Ceaser starts to talk again. "I said, that was quite an entrance you made in the tribute parade the other day. Wanna tell us about it?" She hesitates, my guess is because she doesn't know what to say or she's nervous. She finally spits something out under her breath. "Well I was just hoping that I wouldn't burn to death." The crowd laughs louder than I have ever heard them laugh before.
