Peeta's POV-
"Hey! Lover boy!" I try to run and my run breaks into a sprint, and my lungs are screaming for air, but I need to move. If I get killed I won't be able to protect Katniss.

"Don't try running! We'll just catch you! It's no use! We don't want to kill you we just need help!"

I stop at this statement. They won't kill me. I relax, and start to catch my breath. "What do you want?" I ask breathing heavily. Cato smiles. "We want to hunt down your girlfriend and kill her. She has a higher score than me and we might as well eliminate her now."

I begin to run, but Marvel grabs on to my jacket and pulls me back.

"Your going to help us." He says in a deep voice. "Or we're going to kill you." Clove adds in.

Better me than her. I think in my mind. It's true because I have no reason to fight for my life. There's no one else that I love, but my father and I honestly think he would get over it, but Katniss, it's different. She has something worth fighting for. Her sister. Her mother. Gale. Even if I despise him, Katniss is very happy with him and that's what want. For her to be happy.

But then I think. Maybe in some way. I could give her protection. Some why. Maybe I can turn on them at the last second and protect her from these demons.

I nod my head. "Okay. So what do you want me to do?" "Help us find her. You must know where she is, right? Your her lover." I don't know where she is, but so I won't get killed I say, "Yes. Let's start traveling south. I saw her run that way. Maybe we can find her." Cato nods. "Alright. Here take this." He shoves a sword in my hands and motions me to move south.
