Tate's Party

"Hey sunshine!" I hear Sarah whisper in my ear. I open my eyes and wait for them to adjust. I look over at Sarah who is hovering over you. "Good morning?.... Please tell me it's still morning." You giggle asking her. You had your first date last night and it was amazing.  "Close enough. It's 12:28." She says laying beside you. "Tate's party is tonight. I was thinking we could leave a little early so I could talk to Lizzie about us." You say to Sarah. "We? You want me to come?" Sarah asks. You look at her and then grab her hand. "Of course silly! Tonight I will show you off." You say looking in her eyes. She slowly leans towards you. You feel her soft touch on your face as she puts some of your hair behind you ear. "What?" You ask Sarah why she's glaring at you. "You're just so beautiful (y/n)." Sarah says giggling. You blush and lean closer so your lips finally meet. You pull away and softly put your hand on her shoulder and slowly made your way down her arm and intertwine your fingers together. "Time to get ready!" You say jumping up. She looks at you in shock and laughs because that came out of nowhere. "So little shit what are you wearing?" She says laughing. "Get dressed my clothes are at my apartment. We can go there and finish getting ready." She went to her closet and picked out a loose black dress with blue heels. She grabbed her phone and purse then we left to go to my apartment.
"How do I look?" You ask showing her the light pink dress with white heels you were wearing. She glared at me with a look of amusement in her eyes. She got up and walked over to me. "You look stunning." She said caressing my cheek.
We decided to go get some Starbucks on the way to Lizzie's.
"Hey hoe!" You scream entering Lizzie's house. You both have a key to each other's apartments. Your holding Sarah's hand when you see Lizzie coming down the stairs. You she her glance at you and Sarah's hands. She smiles. "Hey guys!" She says and gives me and Sarah both a hug. "I was just about to put Tate's presents in the car." She says walking into her kitchen. "Great. We are all set to go." You say. ".. But there is something you should know." You say to Lizzie. She turns around and looks at Sarah. Sarah is nervous. You can tell by the way she's squeezing your hand. "Go ahead!" You see Lizzie smirk. She knows where this is going and she's happy for you. "Me and Sarah have decided to date." You say and giggle. "YES I KNEW IT!" She screams. Sarah lets out a breath of relief and laughs. "Sarah I'm happy for you both." Lizzie says reassuring Sarah she's okay with you guys being together. "Thank you Lizzie!" Sarah says. "Now help me get these presents in the car please?" Lizzie says giggling.

You were really enjoying the party. You and Sarah had a few drinks and danced a little. You guys also shared some cake. You sit beside Tate and pull Sarah to your lap wrapping your arms around her waist. "Happy birthday!" You yell to Tate. "Thanks again!" He says laughing. "I see you brought a date." He says looking at Sarah. "Yes I did." You say. "I'm Sarah. Happy birthday!" She says smiling at him. "I know I've seen your shows and thanks!" He says.

You both continued to party through the night. Everything was amazing and best of all you were able to be with Sarah. Not just as a friend but as something special. You guys were in the moment and nothing could make you guys happier than being with each other.
